I'd up it to 70-80. You don't need more than 1 stack for most things unless you're hoarding for crafting for trophies. It's one of those things that you can get by without upping it, but then you really have to maintain your inventory to an OCD level. Same deal with equipment eventually. Plus as we progress, only more materials will be added.

For friend list stuff, some may not be able to invite. If you use FB friends you end up getting locked out of adding people because the game thinks you're over cap, though you're still able to accept friend requests if someone sends you one.

Lol, that 3 hill gigas quest in grandshelt... on my way through I got 3 of them then the boss, now that I have the quest only 1 in 7 or 8 clears.

You can skip this and complete it in an area on the 2nd island, forget the zones name off hand.

Friend of mine convinced me to start playing this game. I rolled Exdeth, Vivi, Shantotto, and Krile. Should I be happy with one of the "best" dudes and forge ahead or should I reroll?

I'd be happy with that, you'll be able to easily melt things with elemental chains with that setup. Get someone eventually for Concentration (+40% magic and spirit) and bring a friend's Vaan for Full Break with Krile focusing on heals when needed.

ExDeath, Krile, and Vivi are good... I like Shantotto myself but people aren't listing her high up there, idc, i use her.

yeah that'll happen. IDK if it's a rate-up event or just certain characters are more common but Anzelm, Bedile, Fran, Shadow, Krile, Shantotto, Cyan, and uhhh I think one or two more (Luna?) were VERY common during my rerolls. given that Fran is a requirement for me, I was ok with this, but it was hard to roll my other favorites like Celes, Terra, Zidane, Kuja, etc.

All the data I've gathered on gacha from various sources:

3* 79%, 4* 20%, 5* 1%. Character drop rates vary based on individual character, generally speaking there are two "tiers" of drop rate: less powerful characters (generally ones that cap at 4* or lower) having a 5-6% drop rate while stronger characters (usually the ones that go to 5* or 6*) have a far lower 1-2% drop rate.

I've noticed the daily quest for Coliseum requires you to win three battles. so that brings up a conundrum: the more you win the harder the battles get, and I don't want to screw myself out of dailies. but I also don't want to miss out on Coliseum rewards!


how are you guys handling this? are you still able to get your dailies even at the higher levels of Coliseum?

Managed to pull Zidane, Cecil, and Firion on my account that I started during Pre release. Super stoked about it since I tried a few re-rolls on an alt FB account to get a feel for it.

On one roll I got x-death, another I got Cecil 5* and Firion 5* back to back(1/1000 odds ish?). Then I decided to just use my tickets on my prerelease account and hit the jackpot, Zidane and Cecil are my favorites. I'll get my friend code posted in a bit.

You can go back and win lower ranks np for the rewards. I'm up to Int-S round 5 now, and I can say the hardest boss was still Beg-S round 5 for me. Europa can suck a dick.

I managed to get through all current content so far with just Cyan and Edgar but the tickets were just burning a hole in my pocket, so to speak.

It's who your friend unit is. If you've set a dedicated party to use in your settings then there's no point to it in any of your other parties.

My main beef with this party system is that it doesn't really allow equipment sharing like RK does, thus forcing manual adjustments whenever you decide to change to another layout. Further, having an independent leader setting would be leagues better for this very reason, as swapping my party around tends to mean me having to select a gimp leader nobody would wanna use until they're leveled higher. And occasionally I'll see that with people on my FL, like a guy who had a nice Edgar having it swapped to some lowbie char.

Menu -> Options -> Scroll to the bottom and you'll see the "Select Party" section.

I set my companion party to party 1 and put Edgar in there as leader by himself. Now I use parties 2-5 for myself and don't worry about my friends getting screwed.

If you've set a dedicated party to use in your settings

Set up your desired leader in a free party spot. Menu > Options > Scroll down to 'Select Party' and set your default for companion to your desired party. Can also set a desired Colosseum party so you don't accidentally run in with a low lvl farming group or something.
