I believe I did mine 5 man with 2 Orland's, Minfillia, Ysh and P.cecil? I may have 6-manned it if there wasnt a 5 man requirement I dont actually remember. Was still dang hard.

Bought everything worth buying with Phantoma, beat the Empire quests, caught up to the story. TM farming and trying to beat these Vortex trials are the only thing I've got going on.
That's where I think I fall short:
Best Breaker I have is Agrias (unless Rain's is about the same). Need to level Xon a bit, but that could be taken care of.
Got Jean this morning and promptly sold her. Just looking for 1 Abel then I can stop pulling on this banner.
Xioa has Crushing Kick for 40%. Jack has Piercing Gleam for 40%. Cupid Luna has Rupture Shot for 40%(what I used). Olive has Shattering Shot for 50%. Shine has Surprise Attack for 40%. Hopefully, you have one of those and it's just a matter of leveling someone.
..Funnily enough, I JUST pulled a Shine on the daily the other day.
Oh Lord, I had no idea you could break Gilgamesh's ATK. Looks like I'm trying again when my NRG returns.
You shouldn't need to break Gilg just seal his elements. Rain with a holy weapon and a wind weapon can seal FOUR elements with Lava Floor. Y'sh with her DC should DC Thunder and whatever and DC Refia can cover curaja. Tank with voke and Satefy Bit and you should be golden. I did Cecil with a thunder weapon and the Blade Spells (Stone Blade, Water Blade, and Fire Blade). Those two can seal all six. Everyone else should DPS (but have at least TWO ways to cover all elements). Y'sh has wind/earth naturally and thunder from Ramuh.
Nah, unless/until I get more HP Rain gets one-shotted by Bushido Freedom and I don't have Y'shtola.

Muscle Belts and HP materia and HP pots.
True, but in a pinch, if he doesn't have those, that strat should work fine.
Pretty much what I did for Gilg without the HP Materia, but I had Y'sh and used a Noctis friend, which helped.
Tried again with a Noctis with nearly perfect evade, but nearly perfect wasn't perfect enough. Survived almost to the second threshold this time, at least.
Had a safety bit on Noctis and Cecil; my units/gear just aren't up to it presently. I'll keep at it, it'll happen eventually.

Keep Cover up on everyone, too(MP/HP regen). Noctis is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO versatile. Point-Warp on the turn you push him over threshold and Safety Bit won't be needed on Noctis as he'll be jumping when death move goes off. You can also try to Provoke two turns from pushing him and Golem the turn before. You will totally get this.
Question: After I get Dualcast for Refia, is there any reason to get a second? Cecil, maybe?
Asking mostly because Ludmille #1 is currently at 95% and wondering if I should just feed him Ludmille #2.
honestly dont see a reason tbh, especially since Tillith is potentially coming in a couple of days making separate DC for a healer meaningless and pretty much any mage worth using from now on comes with DC naturally. would hold on to the second ludemille just in case though
Gotta be top 100 just to get a single moogle, come on.
