I'm not sure how but I was able to beat one of my elt runs in one turn with a 970atk Orlandeau. Others usually help me get the guy to about 20 or 30%. And weaker Fryevia units get me to 50%. It seems like no one else on BG has a Fryevia though. Makes me sad. None of the ones I have friended even use dual wield.
Yeah I already swapped out and everyone in my party has null petrify. As long as tumult doesn't go off 6 times I should be fine. Going to try again with my normal setup then a orlandu friend to try and chain it down. Ling is rare on my flist which is why I'm stuck with rain for breaking. If a certain 5* tank had his awakening it would be a different story.
Doesn't freyvia have an ability boost when single wield?
She does. However, Dual wield is still superior if you build her the right way. I actually got really lucky and pulled her twice on dailies during her event so I have two of her TM on my main one with a magic build. She has more magic than most of the Fryevias I encounter who don't dual wield. And I'm close to finishing a second Letters and Arms which will make her even stronger.
I can do max evasion Chiz, maybe max Lightning, and almost max Noctis. The few ELTs I've done, Lightning and Noctis are 50% and barely get touched. I dropped my TGCid to 873 for Petrify Null, but he doesn't survive the first Tumult.
Hate that earth resist didn't help me any. Thought Minfillia would be a good pick but just went back to Arianna for attack boost.
Not sure what or if I'll do the non raid one. Seems annoying.
I read reddit and people said Titan Trial ELT is pretty hard. Then I went to Trial and killed him in 3 turns. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but I used 3 900+ Orlandeau though. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
Haven't given the trial a serious go yet but it looks like I can do ELT raid.

I wish I saved any Y'shtola moogles from the last ffxiv event. I've pulled three of her today.
I managed to beat Titan raid with Sakura. If you push phases on turn 4 and turn 8, he won't landslide and knock anyone off the map until turn 12. And even then you can force close the app and reload his AI, which will make him skip landslide(Restarting the app mid fight may be a bannable offence. Use at your own risk)
Can mostly clear ELT depending on friend unit. 5x Tumult seems to be scripted; either turn 4 or a HP phase thing. I'm sure the AI is out there somewhere. I always hit it in turn 4 so I've begun defending with everyone except Y'sh, who heals the party to full (and then dies lol). After that he calms down a bit again. Haven't seen landslide so I must be pushing phases.
Manged to beat elite with Alvin's orlandu and his stone killer boost. It's kinda tough without stone killer. Think I'll just do elite with his and pro with everyone else. I really need to work on tmr with more than 10% attack cause those aren't cutting it.
Equipped my Olive with Petrify Immunity accessory, but it bumped her down to 635 ATK, so don't know if she'll be of help to anyone, so should I sub in her, or sub in Ling? I'm gonna assume Ling since she'll be of more help.
I can one turn ELT with another Orlandeau (only tried Golem ones) pretty reliably with ATK boost from Embolden and DEF break from Warp Break.
I throw in a True Shot for good measure, but had no trouble surviving/recovering for a second turn kill until I figured out what I needed.
Edit: True Shot not necessary.
Bleh. Pretty reliable on ELT but just like Bahamut the trial seems way beyond me.

None of the trials require too much. If you count turns and defend/heal and push on turn 4 and 8, Landslide is only an issue at turn 12.

There's a nice run of Snow/Cecil/Min(which actually did very little).
As long as you force turns, a high evasion friend unit could go pretty far.
Edit: you REALLY need a breaker (ATK/MAG) and a buffer (DEF/SPR).
Found trial Titan to be real easy with two Landus. Killed it on turn 5 with Pecil, Refia, Noctis, Olive, Landu and Landu friend.
Sparky @ 98.8 now, woo.
So I can one shot titan pro but elite still kicks my ass. I don't think anyone on my flist has null petrify accessories on them and as my first dual cast is at 65% it's hard to beat because I have to waste a turn using stone and my refia doesn't have the hp to withstand tumult. I know yshtola has dual cast but I really need embolden from refia.
This trial brings back bad memories from trying to beat titan ex fight on 14.
Refia should use Embolden on turn one. Titan is non-elemental, not Earth (Earth res does nothing). TGCid has Crush Weapon for -40% ATK/MAG, if you aren't taking another breaker.
Edit: Also, remember, we have two weeks. Save your raid coins until you get Y'sh and then burn them for cactuars to level for a DC healer. She can open with Pro/Shell.
My strat is:
- DPS
- DPS
- Refia
- Y'shtola
- flex
Flex being another DPS if I have a good support friend, or a breaker (unfortunately, WoL is the best I have) if I bring a DD friend.
With this setup I rarely die. It's a lot easier if you can bring a strong breaker friend (Ling is fantastic) but even with just Full Break you should be ok unless you get very unlucky. Gear for HP. Maintain Embolden and Shellga. Always heal to full. Do damage when possible. Bring gold needles, but Refia should usually be ok to heal petrify. She is my only petrify resist unit and I have literally never had a problem with petrify so far.
Main thing is to boost defense and cut Titan's attack as much as possible, and have a way of easily healing petrify or avoiding it entirely. Everything else builds around that.
