Depending on how much NRG you have, TM farming from 0-100 takes about 6 weeks or so. Best thing to do is pick a favorite among your batch and feed it any moogles you get while raising the others up. I've picked up Dual Wield, Dualcast, and gotten a second Dual Wield to 56% while farming Excal, Deathbringer, Blade Mastery, and Doublehand which are all about 60-70% now.

To give you an idea. You get 0.1% at a rate of 10% per completion.

So if your running a 1 stamina dungeon you have about on average 1% every 100 energy spent. It will take several days, weeks if you're not running it constantly. But if you run it every night before going to bed you shoul wake up with 2~3% more than you fell asleep with. It's a slow process but it's worth it.

TMs are slow but the jumps in power are insane. Without refreshes, you get 12 NRG per hour, and 288 per day. You're looking at 2.8% TM a day (average). Again, things like 10-25% evasion and 30% ATK are completely worth the time.

Edit: I would like to see Gumi go to an energy spent system where if you went on a 40 NRG run, you would get a .4 in growth. But, this is where we are.

They take a while, but once you get your first couple waves done, you're pretty much set and most other things can just be done slowly when you're not playing.

I'm at the point where I have all my "must haves" completed, so I'm just slowly working on some smaller scale TMs while I save my moogles (at which point I have enough trust moogles to 0-100 a spicy TMR when I get it)

Anyone with an iphone, not using nox for macro farming, is there any way to have switch controls repeat forever rather than tapping the middle of the screen a million times to have it repeat over and over?

I spent about 15k Lapis on TM farming refreshes and don't regret it at all. If you're somewhat new and have a decent set of units already, I highly recommend it. It is a guaranteed power increase, where throwing it at the Gacha is only a chance and even then good units still need some gear to reach their full potential.

what do you guys think of Rikku's pouch? I'm thinking of making it my next TM. that LB boost alone, combined with someone like Wilhelm or Cecil (or Rikku herself) is just nuts.

Rikku's TM is why I'm saving 10% moogles. As for Switch Controls, no, you must tap to keep going. No infinite loop. However, if you tap enough, you can freak it out, where the loop stops for about five seconds, then picks up. I've been able to keep it going for more than 100 NRG, but once the refresh menu pops, I gotta kill Switch Controls.

So far i have 16 tickets, and 10k lapis for the ffx banner. Cuz i keep hearing Rikku is OP.

Two banners worth pulling for (going in deep on I mean) is the FF12 banner that has Balthier, Ashe, etc. There are some ehhhhhhhh blues but the banner is too good to pass up as a whole. The other is Rikku's banner which the only thing worth pulling for is Rikku. And that's because Rikku is -that- good of a unit.

Subject to change depending on how gumi sets up the banners but no matter what Rikku ends up on it will be the banner to snag her on. <-- Rikku changes the game's meta basically. A lot of strategies get based around her so that's why she's of such high note.

From what I can see though we don't have anything to worry about. I find gumi's mistakes in regards to scaling or otherwise to not be money grubby reasons but more of a "I don't know what the fuck this will do because the meta isn't ready for this shit". If they were really bandits they wouldn't have introduced the 5* base system so early, the 250 pulls, the normalization on rates earlier, etc etc etc.
Not saying that gumi is good guys but at the very least they aren't bandits lol. Still shocked about the 5* base pull change before Orlandu banner. That's mindblowing on so many levels.
