Ya, I haven't even been pulling dailies except two or three times; it's tough to resist though but it's definitely going to be worth it... I also found out this account I was given had 26k+ lapis on amazon so that was a nice surprise and allowed me to be a little more liberal when it comes to saving but I'm up to ~60 tickets now.

All the talk about friend bonuses has me wanting to add more BG people asap so send me dem requests! I feel like that QoL change probably coming near the anniversary.

ID: 325,885,299 The friend bonus system came after they started the NRG pot adjustment I think for JP. But we're so off JP schedule in where things happen that there's no telling. It could literally be the next update.

You'd think you'd have some leverage over him since we keep our game talk to this massive unwieldy thread while RK has dozens of event posts and shit clogging up SE forum.

You know... I was saving for anniversary as well but I figured that there's really no point. With the abysmal pull rates on 5* base characters ,and the fact that I already own 99% of the 3*s and 4*s, I really don't see how any anniversary banner is gonna be interesting enough for me to pull. The only units I'd be interested in would be the rare ones, I already have most of the top tier 4*s.
Regarding gacha I feel like other games are way more rewarding, especially because each banner has multiple items worth gunning for instead of just 1.

I'd rather pull on daily than on banners. Most banners get dumped into the pool, so you'll get them eventually (and multiples). Also, I have NO IDEA who I would replace on my A-team. And trials become very specific on what to take. From future banners, I want only Rikku. I have been ultra lucky, so my way of playing feels rewarding, to me.

Edit: Also, I forgot to look at the list of goals in the 75 NRG event run and missed Evoke Ramuh. I'm assuming the Power Heavy is worth the 75 NRG to redo?

re: dailies, I still feel they're the best bet for f2p players, although maybe not for whales. Dailies on a bad banner still give you a great chance at pulling older units that would be useful, or working your way toward TMs. They are the most cost-effective way to pull, plain and simple, unless you are pulling for a specific unit - but you should never pull for a specific unit as f2p (with, perhaps, some rare exceptions like certain "I'm a 4* base with 5* power" units).

Now, the shitty thing about dailies as f2p? Once you finish story, your lapis-per-day is not 250. It depends on the daily logins and any events going on but you're still losing lapis over time. I'm almost done with story myself so I might have to start rationing lapis soon; not sure. I'm at almost 15000 right now so I have some time before I have to do that, but the numbers simply aren't in favor of daily pulls after you finish story content. I suppose from that standpoint if your box is good enough, you may want to start avoiding daily pulls on specific banners even when you still have story left to go - but that's up to the individual. Plus I just like pulling so fuck it

Yuri hit the nail on the head. For f2p the most cost effective way to pull is using the daily pulls. I skip on shit banners or once I get what I want or need off a banner. Try to keep my lapis count in a safe place and I keep backup lapis on my phone.

What I really should do is hoard tickets but alas I am a weak creature.

Any reason to keep around extra thancred if I've maxed their tmr? Thinking about fusing them to Amelia to cap quicker. Almost done with my first yda and papalymo tmr. Prolly have more done but I haven't been using raid summons very much. Have about 180k coins atm.

I was able to beat true Titan trial with cecil, refia, minifila, bartz, fohlen and tg cid friend. Fohlen was last surviving member, his evade is really great. I think if I can build him full evade with golem he will be pretty beastly. Need to get assasin vest and cyan and shine TM though and another dual wield :/
