so I am by far the most casual of us... curious. I routinely waste orbs and have not spent NRG all week. I have sat over cap for days. didn't touch the game yesterday except to do dailies.


part of it is Gumi's fault though. I just can't find myself getting more invested in a game where if my phone dies, all my progress is lost. for god's sake, facebook should [I]not[I] be the only login system.

I waste arena orbs quite a bit. (5 a day for arena, possibly 3~5 colo if the daily quest is up)
I don't really waste NRG but I TMR farm a bunch.
Raid orbs I refuse to waste though right now. If I wake up mid sleep cycle in the night, I will totally log in and do something about those orbs.

I don't think I've seen one of their specifics of special E3 stuff... just the Tilith BF collab banner on the 16th, WoL 6* ~June 22nd and the esper reset and a bunch of QoL stuff coming on he anniversary.

That could very well of been the information, It was posted on their FB page and I saw the E3 thing in the description and made an assumption. But yeah, I heard Tilith6* Inc, WoL seems nice for it being so soon.

just curious, am I the only one who takes occasional breaks for no reason? or is everyone here hardcore NRG-burners?


I can't handle raid + normal NRG + arena orbs, it takes up too much time. plus sometimes I just begin to feel like I'm too attached to this account I'm building so I remind myself it's just a game by taking a whole weekend off. anytime I feel like I need to play to burn NRG, rather than want to play because it's fun, I step back.


are you guys hardcore orb/NRG burners, or are there other casuals like me around?

I'm FAR from hardcore at all, though with farming events and raids I'll use as much NGR and Orbs as I can. I more or less ignore the arena outside of daily missions and such. I generally only do new story missions for the dailies or to waste any extra NRG just because. There's still a LOT of Trial fights I haven't even attempted that I really should get on (especially with an exploration/story event week).

...and speaking of trials, I just can NOT beat the Titan Trial. I have what on paper *should* be a decent set up and plenty of good units (though only mediocre gear admittedly) and I have no problems getting to his second phase. But at that point, he just goes Tumult crazy and wipes at least half the party which basically means the fight is over. The few times I can actually get past the core, the first two rounds of post core boosted attacks are more then enough to end things as I'm struggling to survive the 4 turns past the core reveal.

General set up as of now: Ling(SpeedPlus X4+Swordbreaker =25% evasion iirc), Minfillia (Pro of Godsx2), Aileen (DW Holy Lance+Genji, Stone Killer), Y'sh (mostly HP gear), Fryevia (Needle, Doublehand, First Strike+Spirit of Freedom=%15 evade), Friendalndu with 900ish att.

I tried going full HP on Ling, but the evasion set up seems to keep her up longer, same with Fry, It's usually Aileen, Min and Y'sh who go down first, all three having 5k+ hp. This is WITH Guard Order up and Ice Age on Titan.

I may swap Ling for another DD as right now I mainly use her for Def down, MP and Entrust as Landu/Fry handle Att/Mag down. The AoE raise is also nice to have, but if Ysh goes down it's useless.

Other notable units I could use:

Luka
Setzer
Pecil
Mercedes
Firion

I don't know if it's bad luck or a terrible set up, but I haven't been able to get him lower then 40% or survive two turns post core.

Honestly, linking to a FB at this point isn't risky even if it's a dummy one; it seems Gumi has been increasingly helpful with assisting with problems when it happens now IF you have all the information. There's another thread on reddit about the info you need to keep but this guy got his swapped over to a real fb within 24h once he lost access to his dummy and he's not the only one that has had a quick turn around recently so I'd expect this to be the new norm: https://www.reddit.com/r/FFBraveExvi...recovering_my/

Do you have Sakura and are you able to max her out? I'd replace Aileen with her since Fry and TG Cid can do their breaks. Sakura will add to your damage mitigation quite a bit.

@Ziero I would just spam Ling on the atk/mag and have fry and landu and aileen focus all efforts on attacking

My setup was using these units and abilities only:
Refia dualcast heal + embolden
Cecil: lb + curaja
Ling: atk/mag break
Olive: True Strike + lightningdebuff and def down
Orlandu: divine ret.
Friendmandu: divine ret.


With your units I would think you would be fine though. Maybe using golem and Cecil lb did more help than I thought it did.......

Ling has native evasion at 40%, so you are 65%. I can set a high evasion Noctis to help you but you'll have to cover DPS (I really don't think you need and can do on your own). Count your turns and make sure you rebreak Titan (ATK/MAG DOWN) when the core is out by TARGETING TITAN AND NOT THE CORE (a lot of people miss this and wipe). He's immune to DEF/SPR break, so those are wasted turns. Personally, I would have Ling use Daunting Step (then you don't have to worry about targeting but use more often) and kick TGCid out and find a good Fryevia friend so you two can spark element chain (Frost Flower BlitzX2).

I'm pretty diligent about orb and NRG. I would recommend, if you don't want to play, run Chamber Awakening Pro for 20 NRG a pop (stock those sacred/holy). A strong friend can carry, so take a TM team for tiny .1 or whatever. Daily arena then ignore. But Titan is far too good to pass up.

Damn counter cost me the trust moogle on the last stage but I did get the rest of it. Probably going to pass on the moogle for tmr instead. Was a neat little story and I looked forward to doing more of these events.

I missed MP +15% and one of the milcrysts (I simply forgot to do one of the requirements), but I finished the last stage today and got all rewards. 30% away from Dual Wield #2 now.

Zeiro, True Titan is immune to armor break, so if that's all you're using Ling for, I recommend swapping her for Sakura for the damage reduction. Also, if you can rush 'The Gathering', you can get the earth elemental sword for Aileen. That should be a nice damage boost. And you can run a friend Aileen instead of Orlandu.

DFJS, same thing happened to me. Chizuru counter ended the fight before I could Esper kill.

I wasn't aware that Titan was immune to the Def breaks so that certainly helps streamline things. My last attempt managed to get past the core but I accidentally killed it way too fast and was left unprepared to deal with the big attack that followed it But still, progress is progress, so I'm pretty sure I'll beat him at some point. At the very least, the missions for this fight are fairly easy to accomplish so it should be a one and done victory.

I remember their CSR team making a big deal when people were spamming them with inquiries that there are two distinct different sorts of macros. "Built in" functionality like switch controls, macros in emulators, Samsung's gamer thingy, they're all a-ok. Specific programs to automate the game though they said were not allowed.

Regardless, like you pointed out, it's doubtful they'd ever act on it. You've really gotta abuse the system to catch a ban.
