The funny thing about my pulls were that I got the 2 Karls and 1 Seria within the first 8 tickets... the next 62 were nothing lol.

Already knew from the admin of the reddit ffbe and the guy who ran the original poll for the first time around that the numbers were inaccurate because of the clear difference looking at confirmed whale data vs the people inputting pulls. 1.5% vs 5% is a huge difference and would only be made even more apparent just looking at the whales who did 20-40 11 pulls.

It was never 5% the first time around; it was 3.74%. The Tilith rate was inflated the same amount last time as this time (.5~1%) above the other 4*s due to reporting bias and we see the same trend this time EXCEPT that the rates for the other 4*s have come down to the expected rate of 1.5% each instead of the 2.5~3% rates last banner. I really don't think that the numbers last time were inaccurate besides the Tilith one showing the obvious reporting bias just like it does this time; I just think we (and me particularly) got fukt with a bamboo rod this banner.

The numbers were inaccurate because they didn't add in the difference between 11 pulls and single pulls. The admin and the poll creator have talked at length about this.

5% is what a gold pull would be on a single gold banner, I didn't elaborate enough, well it's actually 4.7% but I rounded up. Looking back I wrote this after 0 hours of sleep because of waiting for stormblood so I got confused.

So I ended up using the cheap tickets and did a few more pulls. No banner units but I did snag a sozhe. Was pretty happy about that. Now I need to exercise some restraint and save tickets for the rikku banner. Depending on the anniversary bundle I might actually spend some money on this.


Amelia in arena is my new best friend. Swapped her in for Cecil because of no white magic and boy oh boy does she make it fun. Buff with tillith. Then use bladeblitz from CoD, Prismatic flash, phantom shadow and then disorder. Can hit chain 20. Might keep her in permanently.

Amelia should be using Ricochet then Disorder (once everyone is stopped). Otherwise, an evasion-counter unit will murder your team (D. Fina).

Trying to decide just how far I want to go with the farming for this event. Including a friend unit I'm at a +500% drop rate, but unlike everyone on reddit my metal god rate has been... 0. I refilled something like 4 times last night for 25~ish runs and they never showed for me.

Only had 2 single pops, myself, assuming more than 1 can spawn. Been running Karl, Tilith, Maxwell, and usually a friend Max or Elza. D.Fina's been doing the work on trash, while I also bring Lightning along to help on the boss.

I've had one instance of 3, one single, and 2. However I'm totally dependant on friend units for bonus drops.

Aside from tillith I'm dependant on friend bonus too. Thankfully there's a lot of Elza and Maxwell on my friend list right now. Kinda boring playing for 10 minutes then waiting 8 or 9 hours for energy to refill. I do like this version of king mog compared to the old ones. Will be nice to have 175 base once Maxwell trial gets re released next week.

I've run into 2/3's on a pretty consistent basis. Figured that they really upped their spawn rate for the event. I've done maybe 20 runs at about a 40% spawn rate.

Just got another batch of 3. Every other unit dropped as well so it looks like unless I draw my own bonus unit the most I can get is about 6800 a run.

Daily garbage blue. At least I kept my crappy Seria's from the first BF event! So I have max, 2x seria, plus friend unit. I'm over 30 pulls with no banner units (much less a Tilith). Yes, I know the rate blows ass, but still...

I'm gonna farm hard because I'm 1/6 on metal and that run nets me 10k. Moogle, support/power giant, and tons of 6* mats.

So it turns out I'm really lacking in healer materia to give her, but my Tilith is at 100 and should be set as a friend unit now for anyone needing more bonus units.

I guess only MP matters for her since she heals 100% guaranteed.
