Not sure exactly what happened, but I trounced Gilgamesh with 6 yesterday and got 2/3 rewards... went back today to try it with 5 and got destroyed at the first threshold. Que?

Also, any tips on Beasts of the Dark? Likely going in with Cecil, Reberta, Orlandeau, Tilith, and another Orlandeau friend. Possibly a Xon friend, though.

1 in 100 same as any non-G4 crystal pull. I'm just happy that I'll finally have a 2nd 5 star base to play with... still haven't pulled one outside of infinite redo rerolls though.

I just did a bunch of summon simulations on the wiki and it took me 20+ to get 1 Gilgamesh. Oy. I had one with both Delita and Ace before a single Gilg.

Yep. He also regenerates his lost HP from his Souleater attacks the turn after.

Managed to get a perfect run on the enchanted maze:

The drops have been pretty great thanks to some luck, I've been finding the mini burst pots every 3 or 4 runs past the 3rd level. I've also been getting several holy and sacred crystals so that's been pretty nice.

I really wouldn't mind a second Gilgamesh. Genji Glove is still dope and 2 enhanced Gilgamesh can chain til the end of time with 24-hit tri attack

Dark Espers are easy. Dispel Ifrit, Break his Def, Chain TGCids. As long as they are 850 averaged, Ifrit will die in one turn. Repeat for Siren. WIN! Set Ifrit as Esper and use Bird Killer Materia. I can set my TGCid up that way for you, too.

So completed an exploration today that gave two "Protagonist Halo" items, from what I'm reading of the description they seem to be usable items that grant provoke.

boss hits like a truck, has paper defenses, and requires a summon (thankfully, not a summon kill) for rewards. annoying af

I remember doing the Maxwell for my brother to get the Unit itself and taking forever, almost killed it, but lucked out lol. I believe when I did it way back when I used Rydia 4* cause its all we had. Sucked.

I got it, just took forever. and of course I had multiple units die.


I guess I could go back, +15% dark resist for 15 NRG is a steal.
