Exactly this. First turn King's Play with everyone. Then just keep doing Royal Bad Mouth with everyone until he runs away. Do not do anything else, period. I don't know if it's standard but I only had one person left when he finally ditched; this DID unlock the final difficulty, so don't worry if he keeps snorting your peeps.


It's kinda moot tho; that final difficulty level is... I mean, maybe I'll come back and try it later but it's fucking insane. Pre-emptive multi-status AoE with blind, sleep, etc. First turn massive AoE damage and tons of auto-attacks. Brutal as fuck. I didn't even get a chance to attack him so IDK about his health/defenses.

Got Rikku in 11 tickets, done with banner I suppose. Pretty annoyed that I still don't have another 5* to play with but at least I have another top tier TM... speaking of, I have enough mogs to autocomplete 1 TM. Should I make my 2nd Genji Glove or Rikku's Pouch?

Sidenote: I'll work on putting a Rikku up with 7-8 LB crystals/turn from Jack TMs (essentially meaning you can LB every other turn) and nearly maxed LB if people are really struggling on the hidden challenge tier. Or maybe my Tilith that basically can't die... which would you prefer?

Hmm, I will give it a shot in that case. Status immune Tilith friend should work wonders I imagine. Or just find me some sleep immunity; the other stuff I can handle.

Also, re: King Mog, most info I have is that JP people farmed him on ELT. If anyone here is farming him on the ultimate tier, please do report back... I'd be curious. I'm not even going to try lol

He's not easy by any means and I'm sure I'll go to farming elite for the ease/time investment, but I'm farming it now. I'm using:

Ling - alternate breaks and full res if things go bad
Refia - 460 spirit to survive - start with Embolden and pretty much perma Curaja x2 after
Luneth - 840 attack chain closer with Fairy Killer
Noctis - starts with Fire Flask to blind - 820 attack additional closer with Fairy Killer - backup res, cover, or Point-Warp if needed
Orlandeau - 900 attack chainer with Fairy Killer - can Night Sword to full heal if needed
Orlandeau friend unit with 800+ attack and 6k+ HP

Everyone is at 6k+ HP except for Ling at 5700 with status immunity to blind/sleep and pretty much I'm fine until he's below 50% then it can get dicy. If the friend unit has too little HP they get dropped by his dual cast AoE magic or his Meteor, then it's sort of a battle of attrition to down him before the damage racks up too quickly. If the friend unit doesn't die, I have him down in 3 turns. Their death wrecks chains though and it gets drawn out. Can still win it (often do), but the longer it goes, the more likely dual cast shit will pick off someone else.

My 5 star pull got me a Marie. I'm actually... pretty happy about this even if I do have Rikku now. I've wanted her for awhile and her, Rikku, Tilith and WoL together basically means I don't die. Was able to do the Final King Mog difficulty pretty easily with them, Fryevia and a Friendlandeau. It was actually a pretty long fight so I won't farm that one since I can one-shot Elt but I got everything from it so I'm happy.

I already have 2 Fryevia's for Chainers and an Olive if I need a Finisher so I really didn't have much expectations for the 5 star pull other than TMs I want like Genji Glove. My free pull was total trash though.

Maxed out WoL, Rikku and Marie using Cactuars I got from the Titan Raid.

I just did free 10+1 pulls. The only good unit is Shine since I had only 1 of her TRM. The rest is not too hot. I cant pull the 5* because most of my Lapis is on Android.

Mostly crap, with a Rikku and Rem #2 from guaranteed 5* sprinkled in.

Meh, at least TMR is nice.

Edit: 16 tickets later: Emperor on pull #5, assorted stuff, obligatory Rakshasha, Bedile, Shadow, and of course, type-0 (King #6).

Edit #2: 14 more tickets, several golds, including 2 Mercedes, 2 Lukas back to back followed by Rikku #2, and Tidus on last pull. Done; 36 tickets to spare.

Powercreep is real. Noctis is still solid for someone who lacks all the roles being that he's at least a competent jack of all trades.
He'll stay relevant for arena and TMR.
I have 95% faith they will bring Noctis to JP level when his banner comes around proper. Can't be arsed to look up exactly where that fell during the JP timeline but we're quite a ways away.

Interestingly enough, the tooltip on Point-Warp has been changed to reflect his JP abilities... but the ability itself hasn't changed. Maybe that's a sign?
