2 more golds only to be troll. Makes 8 gold offbanners, 50% trust Wakka, 1 Tidus, no Rikku.
Looks like a lot of it all of Noctis nerfed tool tips have been changed to their JP versions. Chosen king shows HP/MP+30% now instead of 15... the close range Warp Strike text is on the tooltip for whatever, and so on. Either a glitch or they're getting ready to de-nerf him.
XV event in the future, wouldn't be surprised if a buffed Noctis was part of it.
Also 2 4* tickets used.
R..... efia!
R..... osa!
Would be upset but I did a 10+1 pull on the banner and got 2 Rikkus so now I can laugh about it. Related; will I ever need more than one Rikku?

Still kinda mad that I got queen but at least her tmr is good. Glad that the exploration stuff lasts a week so people who dont tmr farm have a good shot to finish faster. After my first shine is done I'm going to work on sozhe. Chizuru is still my best dps and she needs auto refresh badly.
Also weekly exploration rewards seem to change. The Lapis/ticket stayed but the moogle and such changed to pots.
My 5* 5K gave me Ramza (yay for Brave Suit and future OP enhancements) and 2x Rikku, didn't even have to use any of my 70 tickets. I guess I'll hold onto them for the next banner worth blowing it all on.
I have quite the backlog of TMRs to finish now... and I have a huge stash of Moogles that I'm really reluctant to spend as I don't think anything I have is essential enough to dump them into.
So due to my abysmal luck in this game, all I did was hoard Lapis and log-ins for a long while. Blew it all (25kish~ Lapis) on these banners and managed to get Olive, Cid, Gilgamesh, and a bunch of Rikkus. My problem now is that I don't have very many TMs for them and have to play catch-up. Few questions:
1. Chizuru is outdated now, I'm guessing. No need to focus on her anymore with what I pulled, right?
2. With all these events going on, what do you guys recommend I focus on?
For some reference and scope, I've got WoL, Refia, Y'shtola, and Tilith. Also pulled Marie as a rainbow but have no idea how she is. WoL needs to get to 6*, and I could use a few more Dual Wields and items since I haven't worked on those in a while. No Excals, Save the Queens, or Genji gear to gear up characters.
So forget about her TM spear?
You have a great core with wol, tilith and Rikku. You can still use chiz to chain with orlandu and finish with olive. But honestly it's a great set up, gives you a lot of room on what friends you bring. I would focus on Cid and get Excalibur and genji gloves or dw TM and bring a friend cid to chain with. Cap chains with olive. You should melt most content I think

In terms of tmr it boils down to this in tiers of use:
1. Dual Wield or Doublehand(Olive) or Dual Cast for healers (most healers come equipped with this anyways so less priority)
2. Survivability (either by a powerful offense or defense)
Rikku - kitting her out to build her lb for cheese
WoL - build him up with as much hp/def/spr as possible
Kefka's tmr or equivalent - I believe that every player should invest on getting at least one ribbon
Chizuru's tmr - with the genji blade available and katanas being easily accessible, look no further (can give this to Orlandu as well)
Snows tmr - with robo trial coming upon us having two of his tmr for a unit with fists is not a bad idea
Shines tmr - atk with evasion, pretty great
Gaffgarian tmr - on a unit not wearing fists for snow tmr this is easily the best option (well besides genji gloves)
Cid needs a light weapon (see Excalibur + great sword mastery)
Olive wants her own tmr
Gilgamesh' tmr is best to slap onto Orlandu.
If I were you I would work on the following tmr:
Cecil - for cid
Olive - for olive
Gilgamesh - for cid
Chizuru - for cid
Bartz - for olive
Followed by:
Rikku
Kefka
And then from there I'd have to take a closer look at your unit box.
Your main party will look like:
WoL Tilith TGCid Rikku Olive + friend TGCid
^ keep in mind this is a setup for hard difficulty fights, and should be flexible to whatever the fight calls for.
Edit: sorry I wrote Tilith twice at the end, was really enjoying my bath.

Got the guaranteed 4* ticket from the mog king. Joked to the person next to me that I got my Free Garnet ticket.
It was garnet.![]()
Are any of you reliably killing counterattack mog? I'm about 50% on him. I'm presently using Rikku and Tilith for support. I benched WoL for a Noctis (to do damage while breaking), dual Oldmandeaus, plus Rem for extra damage/support. Inevitably I can't break him on a critical turn and he kills me from 100% HP with a meteor.
If you've got 2 Orlandeaus you can farm it how I do:
WoL, Orlandeau x2, Tilith, Noctis and a 3rd Orlandeau as a friend.
Tidus might substitute for one of the Orlandeaus but not sure how well they chain.
First round:
ATK/MAG Break on WoL
ATK/MAG/DEF/SPR Buff on Tilith
Warp Break Noctis (I used to do the Fire Flask thing but I find that if I hit warp break first and let the defensive debuff go on BEFORE activating Divine Ruination, 3 Orlandeaus will force it under 50%)
Orlandeaus x3 Divine Ruination
Second Round (if a good amount under 50%, if not, just heal with Tilith):
Tilith Dispel
Noctis Warp Break
Orlandeau x3 Divine Ruination and it's ded
I 2 round it like this 100% of the time with no deaths.
I've been farming it. Was having some iffy runs yesterday when I posted about it because I'd go all in and the friend Orlandeau would die because I'd pass the threshold. What I do now is prep him on first turn with blind/breaks/imperils while lowering him to 70-80% but not beyond. 2nd turn I go all in with 2x Orlandeau's chaining + Noctis and Luneth closing for the kill. Only time it's failed is when I've butched my chain and don't even manage into the teens.
If i don't get Rikku lb up by the third turn or if one of the Orlandeaus die then usually i can't finish the fight but leaves him at like 10-15%. I wanna say I'm winning the fight 90% of the time. Automatic win if Rikku LB goes up 2nd turn. My party set up is
Rikku - Her own TMR geared for hp/spr
Orlandeau - 977 atk
WOL - geared for hp/spr
Ling - hp/spr
DC Refia - hp/spr
Orlandeau Friend - usually 900+ atk
1st turn clear the statuses with Ling, use Rikku lb buff skill, WOL ATK break, Refia empower, and chain with Orlandeaus. Leaves Mog hp at like 80%.
2nd turn if I can I'll entrust Rikku with Ling and have Rikku use LB. Def break with WOL, DC heal with Refia and chain with Orlandeaus. If entrust doesn't fill up the bar then I would Block with Rikku, Ling would def break and WOL would full break. Leaves Mog at around 15-20%
3rd turn Fingersnap with Rikku, def break with Ling, Full break with WOL and chain with Orlandeaus should finish him off.
I tried it once and didn't go in again. The opening status effect barrage is too much.

Rem wipes status ailments and Tilith buffs while WoL breaks ATK/MAG. Olive Shattering Shot (-50 DEF) and then Cid chains. That does about 75% damage. Round two: Tilith full heals and WoL Dispels (Aura Staff) and rest repeat.
Edit: 941 Cid but I have Spirit Slayer.

Decided to try my luck for Tidus today after dumping 10k lapis into it the other day:
First 5k pull: Nada
4* ticket (only used it for the increased 5* rate): Rikku but I already had her
Second 5k pull: Rainbow... Aileen. Well, fuck, but she was new for me.
Went downstairs for an hour and came back up and said fuck it, I'll do another 5k pull and boom... Tidus.
Lucky day for me![]()
