Going to have to shuffle my main party a lot soon. With all these 6* and new units plus enhancements I've got some decisions to make. Those luneth enhancements look sick. But with tillith and her buffs would you still want to use advance?

Not much of a reason to use Advance if you've got a Bard tbh. Even with Advance+2 and Cut Through+2 it's a 150% or so potency loss over 2 turns to use Advance first (700% * 2 = 1400%; 1050% + 200% = 1250%)


Without a Bard there may be a case for it, especially since Tilith nullifies Advance's second penalty, the DEF down.

My internal FFXI "main hand stronger weapon" always puts higher damage weapon in slot 1, yay for doing it right by accident.

Rassler is turning out to be a halfway decent budget chainer. if you're using a Cid or Aileen carry for your event farming team, he should be able to elemental chain with them (have him equipped with an earth weapon). not sure if his frames line up tho

Woot! Just pulled WoL from daily free summon. Also I saved up 11 summon tickets but not getting the 11 summon option. Can you only do 11 summons with 5k laps?

Nier was announced to be coming soon and is predicted to be the next Raid (Gigantuar was fan fiesta only) and predicted to be coming around end of July. Its a limited time event just like BF was.

What makes the hand thing so interesting, is closers should probably go reverse of chainers. As for Luneth, he's great since his debuff res for the really annoying ones but Olive is more versatile with DEF/Lightning res debuff, Light Shot, and Napalm. And Olive's LB is far better than Luneth's.

I don't know how often it would be relevant, but specifically on current mog raid, I don't want to damage him to his threshold. So in that case, doing no damage for a turn then massive on the next is ok.

So with the Mog King event, finally got both my (Tiduses?) Tidus to max level and I finally started learning how to do macro chaining and my god, is it so god damn beautiful! Took an hr but now can get a perfect spark chain going between both of them and Olive can perfect chain cap on them too. So sexy to see all that DMG and then 1.6 mil thrown on top of it!

For those of you who aren't aware of how OP the Nier banner is and why you should save for it...

3* 21O TMR: materia

4* Adam TMR: materia

5* 9S TMR: Katana
+130 ATK +20% MP

Easily Adam is the troll TMR you get while trying to get the fucking incredible 9S accessory. Linked the unit stuff to their names. 21O materia is fanfuckingtastic to put on a tank... or anyone else for that matter. No need to explain why 2B's Katana is great. But she's a 5* so I don't put hopes on that.

tldr; all tickets should be saved and if you have been itching to pull on anything I would hold off since they have confirmed we will get the Nier banner if you're the type of person to hold for "best banners".
My only concern is how with 2 new units they are planning to balance the banner. I'm hoping it gets split into 2. How it gets split, idk.

I figure that most of you posting here have cleared the vortex trials so I got a couple of questions to hopefully get answers/guidance on. I haven't completed anything past Gilgamesh and looking for some potential ways to clear Echidna, Ultros, and Dark Beasts. I beat Dark Beasts but it took 6 people and there were a lot of deaths. Didn't know if I should list who I have or if anyone had a "budget" guide without 5*. I have seen some on reddit, but having a full evade Ling or 2 TGCids for chaining isn't helpful...
