Upside to this banner is I already have 5 Agrias and 3 Gaffgarions so hurray for bonus units! This banner is unchanged from jp iirc, they had the same bullshit.

I'm salty that Orlandu isn't a bonus unit.

Hopefully we follow jp and Agrias gets her enhancements shortly after 6* so we can use her for Orlandu chains. Her unenhaced div ruination doesn't chain well.

On another note the new thunder katana and dark axe from story update make me an extremely happy Lightning/ Decil owner. Lightning gets to shine a bit more just in time to be benched for Agrias.

When I saw the awakened warriors I thought to myself, hey I might actually be able to get an agrias. As got through the rest of the notes I knew it wasn't going to happen. Agrias is one of two 4* I have yet to get, Leon being the other. This banner the winner for the most cluttered banner so far? Sadly I only have 2 graff's and one alma for bonus but I'm sure I'll get lots more of her on half price.

Finally got my last Power T4 that i've been grinding for a week for and fully enhanced D. Cecil, time to gear him up and give him a tour of the town~.

Edit: With full gear (still missing Demon Mail which i'll work on next), D. Cecil is at 818 ATK. My Olive minus the gear I took from her is now at 837, do people want me to set DW Max enhanced D. Cecil as Leader or stick with Olive?

upside to this event is, I can safely farm Dunes (which I sorely, SORELY need - these past few events have me swimming in 6* mats) given that most of us have a bevy of 75% bonus units right off the bat.

I would stick with Olive, main reason being that Decil is a lot trickier to use if you've fully enhanced him (I assume - I haven't tried yet, but I know Souleater will kill him with DW if you don't time your heal correctly)


that's just my two cents tho. in most cases I believe Decil will be a lot stronger, so there is that.

Yeah after playing with him maxed out, he's a rediculously good finisher (went from 4.4 mil on Training Dummy with Olive to 6.6 mil with D. Cecil), but i'm probably gonna stick with Olive for content that involves more then one fight since D. Cecil is pretty much sitting around doing nothing if his health isn't near full when going into a round.

yeah I think you are making the right choice. Decil is badass and I'm looking forward to Dunes so I can max him out and see if I can one-shot a few trials (lol) but he may or may not be a useful friend unit; Olive is always good.


random note now that I'm finally getting around to doing the story event: Eccentrick is god-tier for any mission involving limit bursts (and really good overall). The other two are nice and I'm sure there will be battles where Refia + Panacea is going to be top kek (Echidna maybe?) but I am just digging Eccentrick so hard right now.

-Shiva & Ramuh 3*, little bit harder than Ifrit.
-Phoenix: damage+AoE Raise. HP recovered depends on rank.
-FFIV event! New 5* characters are Kain (this is apparently a FFBE version of FFIV's Kain, not taken from any game) and Rydia (kid version). Also Yang (4-6*) and Edward (3-5*) as well as Rosa getting a 6* upgrade (can remove all status debuffs from one character, learns Esunaga/Holy/Arise, LB is AoE Full HP heal+ 50% MP recovery). Golbez 6* confirmed to be coming later.

Should I enhance luneth or dkc? I recently +2 ultima on dfina and gil is down to like 3 million. The +1 for both is 1 mil and I'm sure +2 probably more, maybe I should just save for now :/

I don't think I want to put duel wield on dkc though seems like a hassle, is he still good if I give him doublehand?

I'd say go with Luneth and I have a maxed D. Cecil. Doublehand is fine but requires 2x turns to set up and you'll still do half the DMG of DW. But you don't have to lock your healer to heals or make D. Cecil wait for next turn. Main issue with D Cecil is having enough HP per turn to Soul Eater (his HP regent ticks right before enemy attack phase).

DW DKCecil should be about 1.2M, DH DKCecil is 703k, and Luneth CT1.1M (Advance+CT is 1M). Luneth is less damage but you don't have to worry about killing yourself AND Advance is not must-have to make CT.
