Been farming the event non stop and the max i've gotten on bonus mobs is one yellow chocobo Same as when the event landed for TG Cid. Sure would like this increased appearance rate people keep talking about.

I just beat the Aigaon Trial. Man, what a long ass trial. It took almost 2 hours to do the trial.

Here is my core set up. I brought along 2 Orlandeaus with a friend Fryveia. The Fryveia did most of the damages during the Arms Phase.

Veritas of the Earth's AoE cover ability has been buffed. Higher proc rate than WoL's and less mitigation on a tank with higher counter rate and a much better LB. Until enhancements he may be the better choice :D
Edit: Also some more stuff for the GL Malboro Trial coming up include a whip for your mages, an accessory with some status resist and a mastery materia for magic sword users.

You can but there's no active campaigns to reward you. Also remember that Lapis is not shared between versions.

Finally got a Black Chocobo to appear..... only for Ultima to wipe me cause for some reason Grapeshot got resisted even with debuffs and the friend unit I brought couldn't chain with Agrias....... fuck this shit sometimes.

I only bring Agrias friends. So far I seem to have enough decently-leveled friends to make it work. I actually used yours, so thanks (and gj equipping Diablos, so many people are missing that important piece). I did bring Meliadoul too though, so that makes it easier. My Agrias isn't even that good; I think she's around 450 ATK. My routine is:


1 - Bladeblitz x2
2 - Shield Break + Cleansing Strike x2
3 - Shield Break + Cleansing Strike x2
4 - Shield Break + Divine Ruination x2
5 - Chaos Grenade + Divine Ruination x2 on Altima. Mop up with Divine Ruination chains or Bladeblitz as appropriate (take a strong friend to one-shot the Ultima Demons with Bladeblitz).


Maybe that will help, maybe not IDK lol. I'm not sure if those defense breaks are necessary tbh, but why chance it?

I really like Bushido - Freedom for this. If you end your turn with it, it will dispel all breaks/imperil on Altima so she doesn't go nuts on her turn.

Ah, that's why she went insane the first time I fought her... tried to Bladeblitz the demons first and she must have been pissed about my Chaos Grenade.

Yeah. If she's debuffed at all she goes berserk. But if you dispel her before the turn ends, you're good.

My rotation was world destroyer(AoE nuke and def down) > blade blitz > bushido freedom

My rotation is usually Tri-Beam Laser and uh.. auto attack from my Bonus units for chains on main boss... generally one turn kills her. I didn't level up a Agrias yet cause I have an Orlandeau already >_>

I have Luneth+2 up as friend unit. Would you guys prefer I gear out an Agrias? Or do people use him for an easy win (hit all one-shots everything for the most part except Ultima; if you debuff her and buff him, she's one-shot-able as well)?

Seeing so many 750+atk agrias on my FL, i should check their equips. Must be using champion belts and aiagon arms or something, mine's stuck below 700 with pretty above average gear.

If Odin is up before the end of the 1st turn on final wave I normally pop that instead of Bushido since it will finish her off.

I'm running 2x Agrias fully maxed out+ a maxed out Gaffgarion+ 2 other bonus Gaffs at 4*. Main Agrias has Diabolos, Deathbringer and Man Eater materia. The other has Demon Killer.
Gaff lowers Ultima's dark resistance> Agriases chain and kill. Then I just Shiva the demons and kill with whatever bonus unit I have. Sometimes they survive but I've never been killed.

I hate 100% evade noctis in arena. Had 4 out 5 on other team dead with the noctis at 50% and on turn 10 it used fire flask and I somehow lost. Didn't even see what debuffs got put on me. So it seems like everyone on this thread has an agrias except for me. Thanks to you guys I've been running a 325 bonus so this event has been going by fast. Probably just going to get the power crysts that I spent on luneth and his upgrade.

Think I'm going to use 1 10+1 and maybe 20 tickets on that DV banner along with daily pulls. Would like to try and get a 5* chainer.

the TT squad continues to prove their worth; I have never once been bothered by evade units in arena. you can't dodge a triple chaos wave (unless you're Lightning)


maybe I can't clear a lot of the trials but I AM SO FAR AHEAD ON THE ARENA META *sobs*
