I know power creep is a thing, but A2 seems entirely too strong now being able to chain to 50+ while healing to full with a self buff +250% attack that will pretty much always be up. I'm not really worried because events and trials can be done with far less easily, but it'd suck if content was tuned to account for her creep.

It shouldn't, she'll be gone from the pool next week. If they tuned all future content to account for A2 most people wouldn't be able to clear. That said she's indeed a monster now, easily the best chainer for the next few months as well (unless future units are buffed for GL). Basically a new Fryevia.

Marlboro is intense. I'm having trouble with pro, not looking forward to elite.

So far not even super whales have beaten it.
One of the biggest whales I know of (estimated 13k dropped in this game) is unable to make it past the 50% ELT threshhold.

Can't be AoE blocked, damage mit isn't working, ATK/MAG break ineffective.

The whale that failed took 58 turns (1 hour).

The whale that succeeded took 19* turns: "I went 51, 35, 25, 12?, 3 then dead"

Most whales are saying this isn't viable for most players until Onion Knight.

I won't be able to level her until cactuar weekend goes live. And I guess I should go do robot as well as that's the main piece of gear I don't have for her right now.

Since veritas banner I've picked up Flame Veritas, Dark Veritas, Orlandeau, and now A2. I've also been really lucky in getting actually-useful TMR units (extra shines, raslers, 9S, etc).

I'm just happy there's a shitty banner this week so I'm not burning lapis that I'll want to use later.

With her LB, her ATK can reach 1640 in battle – let that sink in.

Only made it to the end of the 6th stage. Fun note I didn't expect, if the event ends while mid way, you get booped out without being able to complete. I had just cleared the last fight and went back to the mission screen to see the last CS bit but got a notice the event ended and got sent to the login screen. I dunno if I retained the drops/mission rewards I had gotten since it was all crysts, but my gut says I didn't.

Pretty much missed out on a bunch of crysts, 3 summon tickets, 10% moogle, 200 lapis, and a potentially useful heavy armor. I've gotta learn to stop procrastinating, but barrage of doubling up on grinding events is really getting annoying. Not that I mind having stuff to do, but I really wish events weren't run concurrently. One after another, or at the least, have it just be a trial or a one off exploration or something at the same time.
