Only made it to the end of the 6th stage. Fun note I didn't expect, if the event ends while mid way, you get booped out without being able to complete. I had just cleared the last fight and went back to the mission screen to see the last CS bit but got a notice the event ended and got sent to the login screen. I dunno if I retained the drops/mission rewards I had gotten since it was all crysts, but my gut says I didn't.

Pretty much missed out on a bunch of crysts, 3 summon tickets, 10% moogle, 200 lapis, and a potentially useful heavy armor. I've gotta learn to stop procrastinating, but barrage of doubling up on grinding events is really getting annoying. Not that I mind having stuff to do, but I really wish events weren't run concurrently. One after another, or at the least, have it just be a trial or a one off exploration or something at the same time.

That sucks. At least you can do the new ariana thing for ... oh wait, it's pretty much all garbage.

the free ticket for daily is in the quest reward menu. it's 50 lapis (as normal) + a ticket (!!!) for five daily quests today. no one knows if it will be ongoing (doubt it?)

No evidence that it's permanent, but I feel like if it was a limited type of thing, they would have announced it as this special event to get people to login and get themselves re-addicted. Silently adding it in feels either like a mistake or just a permanent change that wasn't announced.

The pool is large enough and the focus is solely on specific 4/5* units, so I think a single free summon a day isn't a bad thing for the game. It still requires you to login and be active.

The banner is awful because of Eve, definitely.


The raid gacha is worse in regards to rewards, I feel. way too many gil snappers, too few cactuars, and most of those in both categories are 3* not 4* - definitely a downgrade from, say, Titan. on top of that - and this is just how it feels to me, but most people seem to agree here - it seems like the TM moogle rate is drastically lower. I've been grinding since the event came out and even used lapis yesterday for multiple refreshes... I still have 90% on 2B. after more than a week. with refreshes! and haven't finished 9S either.


compare this to, say, Zyrus, where I was able to finish four of his TMs, three of those without refreshes.


Gumi knows how badly we want 9S's TM, and they are making us pay for it.

Arianna event was good. One and done for an easy trust moogle and a new unit to run expeditions.

The raid moogle rate is garbage. I have around 3.6m raid points and I've pulled 9 moogles for 9s. My tm macro finished him off this morning.

I hope the daily ticket is permanent. I'm in full on ticket hoard mode. The next unit to chase imo is Mistair or Basch. I may drop a few in a vain attempt at Sir Davos, but that's it until the 5* rate change comes to global. (Or at least that's what I'll tell myself until the Xi raid comes and I chase Prishe like a fool.)

The moogle rate is not worse than previous raids, it's pretty much the same. You pulled more Zyrus moogles because that banner was completely different: Reberta, Zyrus, Kain, Firion. 4 characters with moogles in the Raid gacha.
Here we have A2, 2B, 9S, Eve, 21O AND Adam (as a raid unit). See the difference now? Not to mention Bahamut was inflated like crazy by bots so if you kept playing you would've gotten so many extra coins.

I was on the fence about using cactuars, crysts and gil on her but it's 100% worth it and then some. 1m gil for two dances, and you don't need more than that, plus tech crysts are mostly useless. She is especially useful for beginners if you have the crysts and the gil; she makes practically any team into a roflstomp.


Truly, a unit that lives up to the hype.

I am getting a butt load more Gil snappers than I am Cactuars and that does peeve me.

Other than that I also feel like moogles are slightly harder to come by, I could finish 1 of both 5* and 1 9S right now though. If I could get a 9S I'd be so happy. Don't think it's happening right now though. No real supply of tickets or Lapis coming... And I'm out.

Someone cleared Aigaion without Rikku or Tilith and using Soleil in 30 min. Granted he also used A2 (and A2 friend) to chain but the rest of his team is pretty much f2p territory (WoL, Marie or really any other healer and fucking Vanille). Simply shows how powerful she really is, mine is almost fully enhanced
Now if only I had a 5* chainer...
