Yup, lots of potential to be great but they're treating it like crap. Events are a tedious grind, pull rates laughable etc. DeNA screwed up with the Tactics banner but overall RK is way more enjoyable and Mobius is shaping up to be great with all the support.

RK is so good. I ditched it twice because of the shoddy coding (which is still shoddy >_>) but I have to admit, they know how to treat their playerbase well. so many free mythril, so much fanservice (not the sexy kind! the nostalgic kind) and the events are quite frequent with great rewards.

Finally got my Shiva to level 2! How are your guys summons coming along?

Ifrit is 2* 31, rest are all 1* with Siren at 28, Shiva and Ramuh are around 21, and I think my Golem might be 23. I haven't been sacrificing the unavailable esper magicite to them from recent events, though. I haven't been actively trying to level them, either. Ifrit is just kind of a side effect of my first couple HR farms and red magicites generally seeming the most popular esper drop.

I have everything 2*, Ifrit is maxed, Titan is 35ish and the rest are in the 20s.

I decided to pull on the daily even knowing that the draw rate for Zidane was shit and got lucky! Now I have two Zidanes. My original Zidane, Cecil, and Kain are all around 30% now. Now I really need a Luna, or someone with native barrage.

As for the drop rate, I keep getting Vivi, I now have him at 50% for his firaga due to fusions. Frustrating.

Some cool stuff coming up, next Island which has a new esper, New trial, and a new Facebook campaign where you can vote for heros to be on a new banner together. Looks like it's going to be a content-full week.

The facebook thing is going to be bullshit IMO. WoL and Chizu are basically guaranteed to "win" their groups (so they'll have about 1.3% each), while Kefka and Lenna are likely to win theirs (most people have these already due to recent banners). And with 5 units to share the 30% rate-up pool, you're virtually guaranteed to not get the unit you want anyway.

Maybe I'm just salty still about the zidane "rate up" bullshit (and my 2 new frans and 2 new shadows can keep each other company in hell).

Pretty much however they do it, five banner pulls are a major loss for players. Whether there's one character or five that you want from it, your odds are decreased to get them all.

It's so sad how some character are just terrible in this game no matter how much you love them At least in RK you can still find a slot for them and beat even the hardest content.

definitely true. I don't know RK that well yet but I get the feeling that almost any character can be useable, if not great, as long as you give them the right equipment and abilities.


I use Fran in my BE team, but she will fall by the wayside once I get a few more levels on Rain/Las/Kefka/Vivi/Lenna. she's ok for 95% of content but that upper 5% (int colo bosses, etc.) she just can't hack it :/

By the way, Diablos looks to be good for skills only. Existing espers beat him out (somewhat handily) in essentially every category.
