Yeah, star levels aside, too many characters fall into the category of how I'd basically say SE treated early RDM with mish-mashing abilities and never really being good at anything because of it. Though, given things like Fran, Maria, and Luna, they seem to have a peculiar fetish in making archers healers.

It's legit but was likely accidently sent as most people didn't get it. They've been doing some weird stuff lately, like people getting a bottle of 0 Energy in their mail late at night, but not everyone. Regardless, I doubt it's coming in this next update, specially since they still have another trial before it. Here's the info for the trial.

Lol wow, glad I pulled on the current one. Can't even begin to image how terrible the pull rates will be for this.

It's difficult to say for sure. Gut says of course though. In their defense (can it even be called that?) at least all of these units are from FFIX, so there's a specific theme there. In JP Lightning was added with two FFBE unique units, then like a month later a FFXIII banner with all six units (Lightning, Snow, Vanille, Sazh, Hope, and Fang) was introduced, so they could just skip her initial release and force us into a large pool. Prior to that there was also the FFT banner with all six units (Ramza, Delita, Alma, Gaffgarion, Agrias, and Mustadio) added into the banner. So there's definitely a history of having a 'heres all the units' banner. The rage wouldn't be a quarter of what it is if Vivi and Lani were removed, or at the very least they didn't make up 25% of the pulls.

One other thing to keep in mind is that unless they make Global exclusive units, Lani is the last non-5*-able character we receive other than throw-away collab units that we get for free. Every character released from here on is 5* capable.

Lani/Vivi are what makes this current banner so fucking terrible, and the next one that much worse. The 4* base character has some <1% chance to be pulled even on a rate-up when there are commons in the pool sucking up 25% of the pull chance.

On the bright side, I pulled a Garland today with my 1/2 price pull. Now I don't know what to do with him. He'll be a good 6* in the future I believe, but not sure if he's good enough now to swap in for any of my standard team (Chiz, Vaan, CoD, Kefka, Lenna... with a second Chiz and Leo riding the bench). Maybe swap him for Kefka when I want all-physical? Meh.

Tactics banner will be a bloodbath and we can forget about Lightning and any 5* base units unless you get extremely lucky.

at least Tellah/Lenna/WoL banner was less diluted. I got Lenna in like three pulls and stopped

Garnet is nice, but not as good as Lenna. Not worth my summon tickets/lapis with what I have access too right now. My biggest need is more good melee DD's. And maybe 1 more 5* Black Mage. I wouldn't be unhappy about pulling a WoL either, from how I see my 2 PT's shaping up right now, he would actually be a little better than Vaan in my melee PT. But not enough to worry abouty right now.

Really, if I spend $20 I should be able to pull a "rare" 3* unit. Maybe the 4* should be harder to get, but it's utter bullshit that Zidane is 2% on a "huge rate boost".

I've been burning lapis on the half price daily pulls; am I retarded? Also; is there a way to see how many summon tickets you have? Since they added the 11x pull mechanic I can't seem to find them anywhere in my inventory.

I've long since finished the story content and feel sorta aimless in the game. I've been leveling up pretty much everyone(with a solid core of Kefka and Exdeath maxed along with loads of other mediocre people).

Is there any point to doing the Expedition Into the Abyss event more than once after you pop all the chests?

I just don't really know what to do besides chip away at the colosseum and grind out mats for more Hero Rings.

summon tickets: just do a regular one-off rare summon, but don't actually pull (unless you want to I guess). it will show you how many tickets you have.


how many pulls do you guys have? I just checked; 11 tickets and 10000 lapis (exactly). so that's 33 pulls saved up for FFT; I should easily have over 50 by the time it arrives. actually more than 33 if I were to use half-price pulls on the FFT banner, but that feels like it defeats the purpose of saving up and having a massive go all at once. IDK, I might calculate how many pulls I need to save in order to do one a day over that banner, and I might not. we'll see

Grind things. All the things. Max characters, do trophies, max TMs, finish/grind colosseum, hero rings, extras of all useful items (hyper wrist, barbut, black belt gi, etc), finish quests, esper 2*, etc etc etc.
