Well that quickly turned into a shit content update. Like JP they split the island into two updates. Unlike JP, they didn't bother telling us. It made a lot of people just assume we were getting the whole island. We're left with two explorations and a single city with like 5 quests in this update. No access to Diabolos either.

I guess it's not really surprising, they would have announced a new Esper and a new storyline unit if they were going to be part of this update.

Also had a similar expereince with Intangir. Our power creep is far beyond what JP had at this point. They didn't have access to quite as many 5* units.

So we're left with nothing and a shitty banner. Yay?

honestly this trend is getting so bad it's almost comical. the developers have turned disappointing your fans into an art form.


and yet we're still playing >_> although "playing" for me means doing my dailies and that's it. at one point this week I had over 150 stamina saved up because I simply don't use it lol

I just discovered I have a whale friend using Vaan who is Dual Wielding Excaliburs, with Barrage. 450+Atk. Poor Intangir never saw it coming.

I'm going to go through the new island slowly, just using it for my dailies and then back to the TM grind on nox.

First run of Intangir was a wipe for me, curse of having no solid DPS units. Obviously when I saw he was a Behemoth, I thought to myself, "He's gonna meteor at low HP..." Toggle abilities, get him to half HP in 2 rounds, emotes he's drowsy or whatever. Take him to maybe 1/5th, then he "wakes up" and just annihilates my group. I did pull a Duane the other day I've been leveling, so I'll probably revist this once I get him maxed since he does actually have magic break. Hopefully that would be enough to let my units survive since we don't seem to have a shellga ability yet.

You'll want a Celes or Vaan friend for Focus (+40% MAG and SPR), and Focus + Full Break in the case of Vaan. Stacking +HP might be enough to survive with just Magic Break but it'd be cutting it close I think.

You can also use Magic Break with Shiva if she's Lvl 2 and you taught it to her. That's what I planned on doing until I saw I could bring a friend.

That's what TM farming with a 5 min macro is for! That said, game'll get better. Going off of JPs content/event schedule, it's becoming pretty much the same. The problem is, as everyone has noticed, there's a massive fucking drought early on. Within the next month we should see the first real event, FFT, get up and going, the rest of this island, and steady large updates each month after. Everyone was hopeful they'd up the rate of content to skip this drought, but instead they're just upping the rate of unit additions.

From what I've read about BF, that seems to be Gumi's motto. Catch units up to the point where Global is only a few weeks behind JP, with various filler banners trying to keep interest, and keep the content schedule a solid six months behind. That's going to suck hard down the road since JP seems to be on a binge of giving out 6* units (actually really good ones) as event rewards.

Wow that's awful. Did you try sorting your unit list in order of units obtained to make sure you didn't skim past anything new? They just gave us 3 gigantaurs as compensation, hardly enough if you just lost lapis

^ Sort your units, it's likely there and it's just a repeat or something that is blending in. I've crashed more often than not when pulling, even FP pulls, since the update that added 1/2 price summons, unless I've recently restarted my game.

Edit: Crashed for me too, and had a Shantotto waiting for me at the top of the list. Look for the first unit past units marked with 'party.' They won't have the new flag on them. They sure are being generous with the Lapis and tickets all of a sudden, likely to nudge people into pulling then buying/pulling more when they don't get what they want. Based on reports so far from people who couldn't hold on to the bonuses, it looks like they may have upped the rates slightly and heavily reduced Lani and Vivi.

Good morning for me so far. I got my 10k limit break trophy and after checking the rates on reddit, decided to pull. 5* WoL. I'm really hurting for a strong dps now. Healing tanking and debuffing are covered.

Picked up a second Garland and a Celes this morning with my 5 free tickets (to go along with my trash Lani, Cyan, Shadow, and Sabin). Both are good, but I'm unsure what to do with them.

My team is looking pretty good at the moment. I am trying to work towards future needs; I would love to pick up a couple of the more future-proof characters (cecil, zidane for TM, Firion, Bartz, Exdeath, etc).
