I'm fighting antlion (S-3 boss) as soon as my orbs come back up. I am not looking forward to S-4 at all. There are apparently some kind of dual-drake monster that just stomp a hole in everybody right now. Ugh. At least you get 50 points for wiping I think? So worst case it should only take 20 orbs to get to the boss! Or something.

Excited for FFIV event, dat nostalgia. Also excited that I can avoid pulling during this banner, RNG gods deemed it fit to give me 5 Cecils since soft launch. Now to decide how many are worth 6*ing.

Do you guys think they've fixed Decil for Global? The announcement says he has a Global exclusive ability.
Oh and I'm assuming this event needs to be only run once? It doesn't say that we get recipes for those items.

With the random global-only changes that have been made, these are just assumptions:
I doubt they fixed Decil, but he still has ridiculous attack numbers, if you want to throw a barrage at him (if you happen to get him, but don't have somebody like lightning).
I'm guessing something like megacites or 6* awakening mats drop in the exploration. In general the pattern is giving us rewards for grinding events to keep us busy.

I only have a single Cecil, and he's 3* where I've been slowly working on his LB. I'm hoping to get a few more to start working on excal (I'd expand unit slots to keep a bunch of them around; I'll probably pull a 10+1 on this because I like Rosa and would like a few Cecils). I'd like at least 2 excals in the long run, so the more cecils the better to lessen that grind!.

I wish they'd just add a Trust dungeon that either dropped pots or guaranteed specific progress based on chosen difficulty. :/

So much shit that'd be nice to get, but never because I don't whale or run ES forever.

If you don't want to lose a Colosseum orb, you can enter airplane mode at the start of battle. Then if you die, or don't steal the item you want, just close the app and turn off airplane mode. You will be at the home screen after loading the app with the orb. I used this to get an elixir every time but it can get tedious. I haven't tried with Memu, but it didn't work on Nox, I had to do it on my phone.

Don't need airplane mode on phone, just close the app. You'll be back at the main menu with no orbs lost.

Oh sure enough, just tried it and didn't lose an orb. Could have swore I tried it before and lost one.

I know I definitely lose orbs if my game crashes due the memory leak issue. So... :/

I'd be careful doing it with the elixers. Saving an orb is prolly fine, but in JP they were banning people who always succeeded at the maze with that tactic. Granted, full clearing the maze is a bit more lucrative than getting an elixer, but you never know how they'll react.

Just beat Europa on first try (I think only Hellrider took multiple tries, among all 25 of the new bosses). Spammed lots of thundagas, plus full break, focus, cura, and barthundara from Vaan.

Apparently the new event gives exactly 5 of each of the 6* items. Since I want to get a cecil to 6*, but I don't how enough auracite, I think I can buy all but 5 of each of his items, then get the rest in the event. I hope.

I'm also looking forward to getting Kain and Rydia to 5*, but I'm pissed they stole my holy lance.

I think chests respawn each time so you can farm. Or is it a one time thing?

Everything I've seen says one-time-only. There won't be any farming for this event unless you need XP.

Looking at what's needed for blood sword... Ugh. Have to re-kill Europa and Frost dragon 3x each, and Antion 2 more times. Fuck.

"New units" coming for Halloween apparently, all 6* upgradable it seems. Unclear how they'll be distributed but two are 5* base, one 4* and the last 3*. May be traded for event currency like Y'shtola and Minfilia in JP.

I only need 4 more upgrade mats to 6* my Ramza; got Mustadio #4 on my daily and decided I really wanted to whale for Agrias so I can finally have a FB and clear the top tier shit so on my first 500 gem pull I got a gold crystal and was absolutely floored at finally getting her.

Why couldn't I have had luck like that when I poured tons of tickets and lapis on the Lightning banner? I didn't get ANYTHING from that one!
