I don't speak, but the internet debunked this. Horii was not talking about remaking the game at all, but about the early dev concepts they shared with Square. The translator made shit up.

They had quantity? Even when you factor in the remasters/HD2D titles I can't recall that much in the past couple years from them to break double-digit releases in a given year.

Switch 2 is important to their strategy.

Which I hope means more than just porting their "Couldn't run on Switch 1" backlog to it.

They have to get fucking back on track on getting a regular release cycle out and not having their bigger projects run on for 4+ years before seeing the light of day.
