I mean. . 9 isn't on the top of my list of remakes and I don't have the same love of it that many seem to.

But I appreciated it as a game. It was one of those "I felt like it didn't overstay its welcome, but I'd have also been fine with it being a bit longer". In that sense, I'm excited to see what a remake could do.

Still, they could delete Amarant completely and not much of value would be lost.

9 as a stand-alone title was perfectly fine. Moved away from the edgelord protagonists, had you deal with some questions regarding accountability (granted, Brahne was weak in that regard; you can't go claiming victim aspects after having her gleefully murder entire kingdoms

because her husband and original child. Seeing her meet the fate she deserved at the end of disc 2 only ever felt bad because of Garnet, not because of anything she left behind.

Aside from that, final boss is an ass pull, no doubt. Should have left it at the better theme and concluded the game with Kuja.

I'm willing to play the odds since literally EVERY OTHER thing in the leak has come to pass, and its not like there were only 4 or 5 things in there. I'll play the 99%.
