Supergirl and Flash crossover last night was very well done I thought. I hadn't watched the show since episode 1, but Melissa Benoist really does feel like Kara. Her and Grant Gustin played off each other really well too.
I agree, my wife and I liked this episode more than most of them (the last episode with MM was good too). Their chemistry was great. Too bad they went with "alternate universe" trope.
it may be a trope but it's one that worked really well in context given this season of the Flash
also I shouldn't have but I laughed at the "cast of a CW show" joke
All this made me think was... I would love to see a CW/CBS Green Lantern Corps show... It's basically a police procedural show with power rings and outer space >.>
did GL show up at all in BvS? if so I wouldn't get too hopeful, but if not that could definitely work, or at least be interesting to see. CW doesn't have any big space opera kind of sci-fi, even Legends of Tomorrow is mostly grounded in just Earth and shit.
if they've got plans I wouldn't be too hopeful then, I think Flash got grandfathered in because of already existing and being popular, but I think they're too dumb/protective of their properties to do them in both mediums
I guess we'll have to wait and see if Supergirl even gets renewed for next season then.
I know it's not official, but I swear at one point the CBS guy said all the freshman series would be returning.

Speaking at an investor conference in Palm Beach, Fla., on Tuesday morning, Moonves expressed optimism about the fate of the network’s new shows: “We have five new shows on the air. Of the five, I believe all five of them will be renewed. "
They'll renew it.
Considering they already announced their major renewals last week and this was left off it is still totally undecided. Speculation is that it is getting the axe unless it pulls mega in final eps.
if it does get the axe then she should just join the flash as a regular imo.
I agree, I still think their chemistry was amazing.
How about CW taking the show up so they can crossover more? Is that a thing thats possible?
no clue but I'm definitely open to the possibility
FLASH CROSSOVER HELPS "SUPERGIRL" RATINGS SOAR TO NEW HEIGHTS
Perhaps Supergirl and The Flash should meet up more often.
Monday's highly publicized crossover episode, which brought Grant Gustin's Scarlet Speedster from The CW to CBS, resulted in a 31-percent boost to "Supergirl's" ratings.
According to TVLine, "World's Finest" drew 7.24 million total viewers and a 1.7 rating, putting a stop not only to Silver Banshee and Livewire, but to the show's four-week decline.
