Honestly, VII is my favorite lol. I enjoyed VIII, but there were large chunks of shit in the middle of the stuff I liked.

Yeah no, fuck that. Episode 1 was ok for the most part. Maul was cool because of the last fight. 2 and 3 can fuck off. 1-3 basically gave us memes, that's it.

Yes Star Wars fans are super bitter. Part of it was the initial reactions of Hamel IMO. Him saying "Luke would never go into isolation and run away." Me *looks at Yoda*.

Solo was OK. It had so many glaring issues that were just over the top dumb. Cinemasins hits it on the head with Solo.

Everyone worried that TFA was going to be Disney'ed. When it turned out to be a pleasant surprise, Rogue One was still pretty good as well so people became optimistic.

Then TLJ and Solo happened.

This is not the first bad SW movie, and not the only bad Disney SW movie. However, its a franchise that has merit and a wealth of lore to draw from. I think the biggest benefit to the franchise is indeed moving on from Skywalkers kin. Im going to give Ep 9 a chance, but approach it more as I did with TFA and hope to be surprised instead of going into TLJ with optimism and being crushed like AotC.

I'm one of the few that thought Rogue One is the worst of the new movies by a long shot. I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that there were so many fucking cool scenes from the original trailers that were cut. And we got a fucking Jedi without getting a fucking Jedi.

Seems to be a trait of the last Jedi masters. They basically go into hiding. Yoda, Kenobi, Luke.

I actually loved all the Luke scenes. Its been 30 years. People change lol. His nephew was a mass murderer who helped bring the galactic nazis back to power. Anyone would be pretty fucked up and want to just gtfo after that.

ep1 was the absolute worst. Having a decent song and fight at the very end of that trash fire doesn't excuse every other scene lol

I hope IX is as good as or better than VIII, which was the best Star Wars movie.

If VIII is the best Star Wars movie then it's no wonder why I was never able to get into this series.

So apparently actor Topher Grace (That 70's Show and terrible Venom) is somewhat of an amateur film editor as well and he edited all 10 Star Wars films into one mega trailer that gets the feels going. Damn you Foreman!

In unrelated news, I went to Disneyland yesterday and seeing the skyline of Star Wars Land with a ship docked on top of one of the buildings is so damn cool (can see from the top of Thunder Mountain).

I can't wait to visit it (in like 10 years, lul)
