If at this point you think Driver is what was wrong with the trilogy, think again. Perhaps you may not have liked who they made Kylo to be, but I can garuntee that Driver made the BEST version of Kylo based on what direction he was given.

So what's the origin of this stuff creatively? Is this what was planned before JJ got brought back on? It has Luke training Rey so is some of this stuff that was going to happen in 8 before Rian or were they going to have him Force Ghost training her?

The Rise of Skywalker doesn't really answer anything.

We learned more from Rogue One than we did the other 4 movies.

I think we learned the most from Solo. Things like, where does Han's name come from, where did Han and Chewie meet, where did Han get his gun, where did Han and Lando meet, how did Han get the Falcon, why does Lando mispronounce Han's name, why does Lando wear cape, and so on..

Whether those were things we cared to learn, that's another question.

If you follow things outside the movies... I mean, Mace Windu, Qui-Gonn, and Anakin spoke to Rey so it was awesome to ... oh.

Finally saw it today and enjoyed it. Only two things I didn't care for. The opening scroll read like a tweet, with random words in all caps and exclamation points. And the final line of the movie was just too much cheese. I was more shocked that I was able to avoid having a few things spoiled for me over the past month.
