Its been a month, and I havent received any extended ban, and I'm 99.9% sure Gred would have immediately jumped on the opportunity to extend the ban and publically tear apart a "notorious shitposter" like myself. Frankly, I dont need any get out of jail free card, because outside of the previous three infractions that I complained about, I havent been infracted in about 16 months (which is very good for me, it took 10 years, but I've finally figured things out). Having said that, I'd still like to be told that my arguments held water and that either the infractions weren't justified, or atleast I didnt deserve the only infractions doled at those times (which was my argument)...and if it did deserve them then fine, but I'm atleast hoping that there will be a reason given other than "reasons" or "that arbitrary rule that if you're not sure what you did wrong, this rule covers it".


And I have no problem admitting I'm bringing this up because Bane felt it necessary to insult and berate me in general with false presumptions of his...so I cant help but think that this matter was settled and it didnt go Bane's way, and he's mad at me about it. You guys are smart, you'd have put two and two together anyways.

as for the old stuff, we haven't talked about it so i assumed whatever you said was just as irrelevant as when you said it to me. i don't actually care about any of the arguments in the topics. i'm not here to take sides, and even if i were, i don't have the energy for it. every time i infract you, you come at me with a huge novel like i'm arguing with you or some shit. i'm not. i don't care about the arguments you're making to other poopdeckers. they mean nothing to me.

i often do what i refer to as "cumulative infractions" where i infract someone for something that normally wouldn't rate my attention, but is still kinda objectionable. the thing is, such relatively tame posts often come in great quantities, or have an aggressive/predatory attitude. Maneuvering someone into posting what you want them to post so you can pounce on them for it. That is literally trolling.

Shitty posts are against the rules, even if they do not explicitly ‘break’ a rule. Don’t be a rules-lawyer. If you find yourself typing “but what rule, exactly, did I violate”, it’s this one.

We're people, not robots. I can see the subtext and general direction of conversations. My objective is to keep us vaguely on-topic, somewhat civil, and actually capable of discussion. Discussion can't happen if people are too busy maneuvering for their ultimate "Ah hah!" pounce/moment. It just ends up as an endless debate over semantics, and that's boring as fuck.

See, heres the thing, you falsely presumed that I implied men should go smash as many women as possible before deciding to settle down, as per your reply of "not really, because women aren't cars or food you fucking troglodyte"...no, men and women should get some experience with members of whatever gender they are attracted to instead of expecting that their first subject of infatuation will be "the one". Long gone are the days where all women save their virginity for marriage.

And as far as why I said that, I've found there are a LOT of single mothers that are no more than 25 years old. I work retail, its pretty public knowledge that its become a joke in the NHL thread. I see the same mothers coming with their toddlers, and theres no ring on the finger nor theres no man around ever with them. It wasnt like this back when I lived in Montreal, and another girl I work with who also moved from the east noticed the same thing. I also hop on POF and OKC (which is another discussion, but lets just say working till midnight 5 nights a week in a city that has next to no pulse and shuts down at 2am on weekends makes it hard to meet people) and there are so so many admittedly single mothers who had a kid at 16-21 yrs of age. If you dont see anything wrong with someone being a single mother before they're even old enough to graduate college, then I dont know what to tell you. I can tell you with near certainty that most of these once-were couples had that same ideology that you called me a troglodyte for: "first love forever".

Telling someone their opinion is stupid is different than saying their metaphor is stupid. The stance isn't complex enough to need a metaphor to begin with, so making a really shitty one that doesn't even work and literally objectifies women is dumb. If you are asking about stable relationships among people with 1 sexual partner as opposed to more, the studies are out there. It's not in favor of the latter in the least....

I tried googling "cumulative influence" to grasp an idea of what you could mean, and yeah, nothing.

Cumulative means increasing in quantity
Influence means "the capacity to have an effect on the character, development, or behavior of someone or something, or the effect itself."

So you infracted me because i posted too much shit that you dont agree with socially/politically, or i posted too much shit that you didnt agree with socially/politically and i was getting people to back my posts over solid arguments to back up my opinion, hence the influence.
