Real talk, Charles Barkley isn't wrong. However how he proses his argument was completely retarded. His general mindset is that "Not all Black people are right and not all White people are wrong" (and vice versa). However, he said it as such in the worst way possible. There are niggas and there are civilized Black folk.

For some people, it seems that no matter what the message, they will give them crap because they dare to disagree with the majority. I recall Bill Cosby getting all sorts of heat years ago for saying that black culture should stop blaming everything on the white man and take some responsibility for themselves. But saying a person is wrong about X because he did Y is petty. It's literally a cognitive bias. Either you disagreed with what he said before AND after the rape allegations like Liroy (and me), or you agreed with what he said about black culture before & after. What he did to women cannot change the weight of what he said. He wasn't trying to "claim" the moral high ground, he was putting out his ideas on what black culture needs... you can take what he said and divorce it of the person if you find it useful. If not, discard it
