maybe when you get raped you'll be quicker to make the claim
but probably not as men are even less likely than women to admit to being raped

Yeah, that 70's justice system was awesome at sexual-assault-by-super-rich-and-famous-people prosecution, why wouldn't those women try to incarcerate him?
Okay, and...whats the goal now? Use the whole current feminist movement to pressure the law to incarcerate him and get justice for what happened to them? Lets break this down then:
A bunch of women coming forward DECADES later claiming that Cosby raped them and want justice, despite the fact the statute of limitations is long long loooooooooong gone.
vs
A male who, regardless if he did or did not do it, should not be subject to any criminal offence due to the statute of limitations being long long looooooooong gone. What kind of backlash do you think will occur if he gets incarcerated for something that the statute of limitations says he is no longer eligible to be held criminally responsible for?
Its literally decades lol. The statute of limitations is so fucking expired on this, the cobwebs have cobwebs.
Did you guys know that shunning a rich rapist so he doesn't make any more money/doesn't rape any more/etc. is PRETTY MUCH the same thing as incarcerating him?
Spoiler alert: Cosby's gonna do just fine after all this.
Aren't there something stupid like half a dozen random, different women that have claimed to be pregnant with/delivered Justin Bieber's baby? And all with at least somewhat believable back stories (girls that worked on stage with him one time, or at one of his venues, or who were seen alone with him, etc)? All of which were pmuch eventually discredited?
I'm not equating that story to rape or making any statement on whether or not Cosby is innocent or guilty, but I think there's fair reasoning behind viewing accusations against a high profile/celebrity a little differently (even if numerous). It may not be justified or deserved or even right to do, but I certainly understand why it happens.
That said, the accusations combined with other detailed evidence of his habits don't look all that good for him. But I doubt that most people are seeing/caring about much of this story past the headlines.
A few of these cases were reported to the police when they happened in the early 2000s, which is what started all this. One the woman said he grabbed her hand and stuck it down his pants but the police didn't prosecute because he stopped when she freaked out, the other was a civil suit that started the women coming out of the woodwork with similar stories or worse that he eventually settled, and his legal team has been trying to keep the rest of the women quiet ever since.
Here's Patton Oswalt reiterating that his rapiness has been an open secret forever:

If you guys watch The Newsroom, the latest episode has Don Keefer speaking with a rape victim who makes a website where victims can name names and describe their experiences. He quite thoroughly summarizes the problems I have with trying to litigate rape charges in the court of public opinion.

It expands further down on why his name will be just fine no matter what.
Maz just looks for links and posts them. I have yet to see him actually engage in critical conversation.
wait, what. The second reason it’s okay if I’m wrong is that I’m probably not wrong.
Beverly Johnson's story about Bill Cosby drugging her and being the monster we keep hearing about. http://www.vanityfair.com/culture/20...social_twitter
As I felt my body go completely limp, my brain switched into automatic-survival mode. That meant making sure Cosby understood that I knew exactly what was happening at that very moment.
“You are a motherfucker aren’t you?”
That’s the exact question I yelled at him as he stood there holding me, expecting me to bend to his will. I rapidly called him several more “motherfuckers.” By the fifth, I could tell that I was really pissing him off. At one point he dropped his hands from my waist and just stood there looking at me like I’d lost my mind.
