You unload on some motherfuckers until the threat is gone. If they did that while this attachment was equipped, the person they were trying to stop without killing would get the beanbag thing followed immediately by bullets.
And this is why you don't point a firearm at something unless you intend to destroy it. There's no way to control the SNS activation of a person behind the trigger unless your training is constant, and every round that's fired for less-lethal will be followed up with a real round. Guaranteed.

Traffic stop in Westerville, Ohio. Officer does a passenger-side approach and observed the subject had a gun. The subject grabbed the gun after being ordered to keep his hands up, and the resulting gunfight led to him being shot and killed by the officer.

Good video to show the trials and concerns of Law Enforcement during what would have a been a routine traffic stop. (Warning, NSFL)

Just give the cops muzzle-loaders so they don't forget to reload between shots.

Do we know why the guy pulled the gun? That was amazing police work. He was calm and in control during the whole thing. Talked to dispatch, controlled the scene, communicated with other officers, all while he was in a life threatening situation. Even with the adrenaline flowing, he never lost his cool.
