haha I queued it up!

Thats because Marvel knows how to write a script. Everyone had a proper amount of screen time and story usefulness.
"This is Slipknot, he can climb anything"
"Hey, its mindgames, these bombs aren't real"
is a shitty way to have and get rid of a character.
Are you really that upset about a C-List character's death?
Yes, mostly because its Adam Beach. Storywise, its just a shitty thing to do. Its bad story telling to introduce a character and have him die seconds later. And again, in GoTG, every character had good screen time and did stuff. Captain BOOMERANG threw 4 Boomerangs the entire movie(And only ever had 1 return to him), Croc had 1 scene involving water, Katana served zero purpose, and Joker is supposed to be a huge villain. He was reduced to like, 9 minutes in the whole movie. Its the same shit when a Spiderman movie does the too many villains thing.
If you wanted a character to die by the bomb thingy, you could have showed it in the prison, during their meet and greet, with a random prisoner, or even holding up an Ipad(Which they did a lot) and be like "Heres what happens if you fuck with us" and boom.
This is why you need either Intro movies, or less characters over all.
And again, I'm not hating on the movie. I greatly enjoyed it. I'm just saying things could have been done better. But thats DC in a nutshell
movie was clickbait bruh
Perhaps need was a poor choice. I should say at least until you get saturated with it people tend to be more invested with the development of a character they already know somewhat vs a new one. So even if they know the basics they expect to see some kind of rehash of it especially when it's in the frame of a new storyline. Of course for things you've seen a thousand times... yeah no. Examples no one wants to see batman's parents get killed again. But I'd imagine people wouldn't mind seeing the Joker's origins again though that's probably partly because they now have a cannon excuse to make ones that are totally different than a previous one. Kind of a balance of how much are people already invested in the characters to how much have they already seen of them
Box Office Weekend #2: 56% drop Internationally, 67% drop Domestic (NA), $242.5 million made ($465.4 million since release)
10% less than BvS, but 15.5% higher than GotG & 20% higher than Deadpool

Saw it. And it felt like watching a Will Smith movie. It was so distracting tbh. Soundtrack is pgood can't argue with that. I was okay with flashbacks to mini-origins story. It should have been shorter, the movie as a whole, though.
What's dumb about this movie is hiring, pretty much what amounted to be a team of normal humans, some at peak physical condition, and calling them front line of defense against meta-human threat. Equiping them with barely any weapons (at least Batman had full arsenal and krypto-weapons when he went up against Superman) I mean really. You have a global scale event and you're going to send in psychos and murderers? Was it always like this in the books? Werent they relegated to things on smaller scale?
Nothing against this post, but I just hate the usage of percentages. Suicide Squad still made more money its second week than GotG, albeit because it was in a few hundred more theatres. Deadpool fucking killed both though. I don't think Suicide Squad makes this $800M-$1B that WB 'needed' however.
GotG was only included because of being a super hero released during the month of August.
Yeah, but bragging about larger numbers in second week due to wider release is like saying your dick is bigger by stuffing you underpants with a sock.
Only if you are a grower not a shower.
