Just saw this finally. Gonna have to go out on a limb and say I like it. It's better than pretty much all of DCs garbage and it better than the crap to low tier Marvel movies.

I disagree. I think they tried too hard to be like the Avenger movies. The movie would have been a lot better with a human big bad rather than the super predictable supernatural crap.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie, I just think they did a lot of fails.

I liked this Joker(from the previews with all his scenes that we saw). So I'm hoping that there's more of a story there.

Well, Leto was quoted as saying there was "enough shot to make its own movie."

Yeah I kind of liked it to or at least thought the portrayal could have been good but it was really hard to tell just well it would've or wouldn't have worked with the way they cut and edited it to effectively change his character. Would be funny if we basically get another movie of all joker backstory lol. I'm hopeful though. Directors cut of BvS was worlds apart from theatric release and for the better

I know. From what we did see he felt like he WAS the joker straight out of the cartoons and comics. Now, if that actually translate or is how it's truly happens we'll probably never know.

I actually really enjoyed BvS, I didn't see it in theatres though, just the extended cut that was released. I enjoy a much darker comic book movie. Didn't really care for batflek but I disliked him much less than I disliked jaret leto's portrayal of the joker.

From what I read they basically had two completely different edits of suicide squad, the one we got and another that was much darker, much more serious in tone... i would have much preferred the darker one. It's also really hard to tell if leto just did a terrible job(imo) or if those scenes are just the ones they chose to use, and there was much better material to pick from that got scrapped, because they didn't really give him much screen time.

Overall I would have been really disappointed if I went to the theatres to see this. I really hope the extended cut goes much darker but I doubt they will completely change the tone of the film by releasing extra material.

Sorry I should have specified from the trailers. They made him look like the joker. Someone who enjoyed himself in every situation and enjoyed basically making Harley.

Finally watched this and it's bad. No flow to the movie and it tries really hard to be cleaver. I didn't have an issue with the Joker, just a decent storyline would have helped.

And Will Smith was being Will Smith and his character was boring. And this enchantress crap just didn't work. DC needs to get writers.

Watched it for the first time today too, not as bad as fan4stic but pretty bad. Hated Joker, movie had no flow, bad writing, made no sense and boring.
