    The point here Maz, is not shopping at Amazon will not change the industry-wide practices. Consumerism is at an all-time high. As long as people want more stuff, they will shop wherever they have to to get it.
    This cannot be repeated enough. Working in retail nearly 15 years the "threat" of customers boycotting and shopping elsewhere happens every day. You still see full parking lots and social media posts of where they are shopping.

    There are constant arguments about corporations and such and the reality is nearly all are fucking corrupt in some way. I know this, it's reality of the first world I live in and I still choose to buy products. I'm selfish in that sense, we all are to some extent but the argument of only shopping small business or boycotting only goes so far as eventually we will give in to the needs and wants of the supplier.

    I've just come to terms with it and while I choose to not go to Walmart for example because I used to work there I don't see others stopping anytime soon due to anything in the news, media or other sources. As people on average we are selfish assholes and it's unlikely things will change that anytime soon.

    I looked through at least 300+ deals or so between Amazon, Newegg, Best Buy, Staples, etc... and spent $4.

    Mom and Pops got a nice huge christmas list from lil Jimmy and lil Jilly, and Mom and Pops want to go to the Bahamas alone. If Mom and Pops can be good parents and get their kids 5 gifts instead of 2 WITHOUT dipping into their vacation savings, I'm pretty sure Mom and Pops dont give a fuck that Amazon/Walmart/Whatever the fuck else pays their employees didly squat because Mom and Pops would rather get their freak on in the Bahamas.
