ExoMars mission, by the European Space Agency, landed probe on Mars earlier today, livestream to resume at 2:25 EST to await signal from the Sat. orbiting back to the lander.
Still no confirmation that the lander is safe, but nothing up to the time where the lander lost signal to the Sat. suggested anything wrong.
Sounds like the lander had a mishap somewhere around the detatch-parachute/fire-rockets stage, presumably leading to a rapid unplanned disassembly on landing, though they're being very noncommittal ("still looking at data" etc). This was not entirely unexpected, and the functioning orbiter plus the landing test data is sort of the main product for the mission anyway, but still disappointing. Mars' uncooperative atmosphere claims another victim.
Edited to add official release:

"In terms of the Schiaparelli test module, we have data coming back that allow us to fully understand the steps that did occur, and why the soft landing did not occur"
Welp, one less lesson to learn in the race to space.
At least they have a Satellite in orbit now.

Got a good laugh at that last bit.Musk also said he doesn’t like the ITS moniker: “I think we need a new name. ITS just isn’t working. I’m using BFR and BFS for the rocket and spaceship, which is fine internally, but...”

Debris from the Chinese space program lands in a mine and on a village in Myanmar (Burma).
SpaceX is back at it. Succeeded in launching its payload and landing the first stage rocket today: http://www.latimes.com/business/la-f...113-story.html
Excellent news! This was a biggie, great to see them nail it.
Edit: Hot damn, they've improved their cameras too. Watching the first stage all the way in was pretty awesome.

CRS-10 Mission - Blasting off Tomorrow at 10:01 AM EST. Set those alarms! This one is landing back on land, ala Dec 2015!
Get HypedThe CRS-10 mission will be SpaceX’s first launch from historic LC-39A at Kennedy Space Center. Following stage separation, the first stage of Falcon 9 will attempt to land at SpaceX’s Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida.
Launch scrubbed at T-13s
See ya'll tomorrow!
9:30 AM EST Tomorrow.
Another success this morning. Shit clouds everywhere so nothing to see once Falcon left the pad. Good footage all the way back from the first stage though, plus a nice shot of the thing breaking through the low clouds to land.
Bring on Falcon Heavy!
Awesome vid of the landing from a drone:

Got another link?
Was that the one carrying the RAVEN payload?
Yup
