I still have to laugh that a guy I went to grade school is a JPL mechanical engineer and was able to sneak a secret message on Curiosity that could only be seen in Martian light. It says "Paul was Here" on one of the panels on the underside of the rover. It was on my Facebook feed back when I had an account nearly 6 years ago. It made everyone scratch their heads, laugh, a bit of scorn that he was able to sneak it past everyone. A large range of emotions really.

Ground looks wet and muddy, its pretty cool and the fact it goes up to 8k was fantastic... feel like I wouldn't be misusing the word "Awesome" here. Spent more time than I want to admit staring at the ground close to the rover looking for... stuff
