I wasn't born with the shoe/sneaker gene. I have one pair of shoes, 1 pair of running shoes, and 1 pair of dress shoes. i don't see any reason to have more. Plain white comfortable shoes is all i need.

Me too tbh. I have my dress shoes for my suit, a nice leather pair or sneakers for more casual occasions that still require dressing up, two pairs of boots (one would have been enough but i got paint/enamel all over my first pair when i was working so i wanted a different pair), and then another pair for just whatever. My "whatever" pair is the pair that died, and I've been wearing the leather ones in the interim. They're broken in now and I don't want to get them all scummed up by wearing them too much in the winter, so I need a new whatever pair. And since there's a bunch of dudes discussing sneakers, I figured why not ask the people who make a hobby of what I'm trying to do?

I might use my ps3 money to get those shoes instead of making an extra payment on my PC. dunno. i like to figure that sort of thing out at the end of the month when i know i've got money coming in very soon.

Found em on a local Sneaker Group on FB for $160 in pretty good condition, scooped them up quick. Other than that I would always see them around $240.

As for the Yeezys I went through Queensole.ru, they got a lot of stuff not only shoes. I picked up the Solar Red's and I have a friend that grabbed a pair of Red Octobers. When they came in I went and watched youtube videos of people showing what to look for in fakes, etc and every thing that got mentioned for the real shoe matched the pair I have. I think it would take someone who really knows their shit to be able to tell the difference, though there were a few small things where the quality wasn't 100% on point. Small black streak on the air bubble, couple small scuff marks on the rear spines, etc. Let me get a pic up of them

I'm not much different. Casual shoes, dress shoes, steel-toed boots, then grungy shoes for stuff like lawnmowing (usually prior casual). Seeing some of this shoe porn is like viewing some of the gaudiest footwear I've ever seen, but I guess I'm okay with being a peasant if it saves me a few hundred bucks per pair, too. Maybe we can go back in time and discuss man purses, too.
