honestly though id love to get a job where i wear a suit erryday. be awesome. i have a whole selection of different colored shirts and pocket silks and ties, all matched. i've worn like maybe three different combinations, because the occasions were fairly serious and i didn't have much choice. the only one where i had total freedom was my niece's wedding, which was also the first time i wore the suit, so i went with a relatively boring blue shirt and pocket silk with blue and silver tie. I like that tie, though. It's cool beans.
It makes me proud to see how far this thread has come lol
Saw an image on facebook about Kobe/Jordan, saying stop comparing Kobe to Jordan because no one is standing in line to buy Kobe's shoes, and it reminded me of this thread.
But Kobe has beef, and I'm sorry Beef trumps Shoes everytime.
wheres the beef?
The problem with that would be that most of the time when you see "Kobe beef" or similarly "Wagyu beef" on a menu in a restaurant in the states it's a lie. So Jordans > Fake Kobe beef.
This is the realness. http://blogs-images.forbes.com/larry...fjapan1212.jpg
They sell it at a few places here.
This is a simple guide to beef ratings. http://amazingribs.com/images/pix/four_steaks.png
By the way, this thread is now about delicious beef.
that image does not help me at all
See the white stuff IN the meat? That's fat. The more fat, the better the grade. Kobe beef has upwards of 50% fat content, while lower grades don't come close to that.
More fat, more taste/
This is the Japanese manual for rating beef.
It's pretty useful
the kobe just looks like it would be all jello-y and gross. i understand the fat has all the flavor but the muscle has all the texture.
It's actually quite delicious when cooked. For my birthday, went to the gordon ramsey steakhouse in vegas, wife and I both had kobe filet's, medium rare and it just melted like butter in our mouths. Shit was not cheap though. Two fillet's, two lobster tails, glass of wine, mixed drink for the wife, dessert for us to share, and soup before my meal, was about 400 bucks before tip.
Inb4 someone says well done is the best way to eat meat.
Depends on the cut imo, usually tend to go w/ rare.
