I haven't bought/worn non-SBs in over 5 years at this point. What do you deem a "cheaper" brand? Really, you should just go to a shoe store and try shit per normal and find something comfortable.

I had forgotten about these things. Was curious so I went on ebay... They want $300 for a pair of these things. I didn't even realize people would want them, even if they are brand new. I should have known better, though.

New Balances are good for erryday wear. Asics as well. I don't like adidas, their shit doesn't fit my feet.

hmmm. those grey balances are aight. price is about right, too. i dont like spending more than about $60 on regular shoes. anything beyond that and it feels like im paying for flashy bullshit, which i do not like.

I wanted to get the same style in green as well but the NB factory I was at up in Maine visiting my folks didn't have them in stock. Grey or black onry.

yeah i was looking at some of the other colors/styles and i think the High Roller look is the best. I don't like the prominent logo on the others. prolly get a black pair soonish. i like that low-key look.

Nah you aren't the only one..these sneakers do fucking nothing for me. I typically pick out my husband's and they are usually the cheapest but wear the longest lol. I've never been a trend person anyway.

I wish I could wear heels - well I am trying to now. I spent at least 20 years of my life in nothing but flip flops , combat boots and sneakers. Boots however I can wear forever , just not the high heeled ones my husband likes or I like..bleh.
I love seeing heels on other women and am envious that I can't physically wear them due to an old injury/arthritis but i'm still trying to find a way at times.

Still my best pair of Nikes ever. Still have them after 6 years, rarely wear them anymore due to have next to no sole left on the bottom, had to replace the laces once and clean them a few times despite being a darker color.

100% vegan made to match the band's (Alkaline Trio's) values and was the first punk band they released a shoe for. Very limited production and had to order them online.
