I might be looking for actual matches tonight, so far I've pretty much just been knocking down story/color garbage.

I was told that unlocking costumes in the story mode just unlocks the ability to buy them in the store which doesn't exist yet, and that they're 40k FM each, is that correct?

Man, watching some poongko replays, that dude is on another level with cammy. I scrolled down the replay list and it just seems like this guy has never recorded a loss, ever.

Do you remember Poongko upon SF4 vanilla release? The guy was a monster, but he didn't play safe and got wrecked by Wong/Daigo at the time.

For the Vsync disabling: There are 2 Engine INI files located in different folders. You must copy/paste the command from one to another and turn it to 0. Here is a guide that better explains it, actually:

Edit: @Nits, I guess that is why I kept getting hit. Every other SRK will get punished, but I guess Cammy's light goes super vertical. I was basically on the other side of you each time and you would hit me in the direction I was jumping and it would teleport me back to the front. Horrible hitboxes in this game...

EDIT: I'm assuming inferno is the better combo ender for most situations? I'm still trying to fight the muscle memory of lk scissors lol. Also, never figured how good ex fireball is.

It was a bloodbath man. I don't think I've been that annoyed by a fighting game match since playing against 2nd Impact Sean.

I'm sitting on like 27 ranked win streak or something in ranked and everyone I've played either from invites or random were below my 2 hour Karin by a lot. Then comes his Bison for the blow up of blow ups. Felt like I couldn't do shit. I think against Bison, you just really have to "wait your turn" and let him do his thing for 90% of the match and hope you get an opening. If you find it, he takes good damage. My muscle memory can't capitalize on punishing him yet, either.

Even with time and experience, Bison is still going to be THE PROBLEM. ;-;

This is basically my entire experience, if I have 75%+ it always offers high/full, if I'm almost dead it only offers low lol

Inferno does more damage and stun, and it gives a guaranteed safe jump against most of the cast if they quick rise. Literally just hold up forward while it's animating.

Scissors is better to maintain pressure, and unless it's point blank the lk version will be safe on block (-4 but out of the range of light attacks). If you confirm the hit it's almost always better to use Inferno, but you will get raped if it's blocked since every version but EX is - 10 on block at best.

EX Fireball is just nasty in all forms. It's a great oki tool and useful for covering your approach/driving people into the corner in the neutral game. The explosion when it finishes its travel time catches alot of people too. It also seems like it doesn't actually have to hit to trigger the explosion. I was playing some games against Adnan (Arturo Jr) and the explosion would trigger on Sim's limbs even if he wasn't actually touching the projectile.

Okay. So for those with a touch screen having the random boot out of the game completely issue. Go into service.msc and disable Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel service. Seems to do the trick. Going over an hour now just fine when before it was 10-20 minutes.

Necalli shits on Bison pretty hard. Try him out. You can learn any character in this game 30 mins or less.

You can put all the notes on a character on a post-it for this game.

Nah, not my style. I only play characters I think look cool, regardless of tier level, etc.

Necalli's look is growing on me though, so maybe I'll try him out. I will probably just fuck around randomly until Ibuki comes out.

dat SSJ hair is godlike

went did some messing around with graphic settings. On 3 stages Waterfall, back alley, kazuki estate. All give me random frame drops i get down to 55-56 fps went and found out post-proccessing gives me lower frames anything past low shits on my laptop lol...

I feel like I should play ranked matches on WiFi just to make things fair with the rest of these neanderthals.

Felt alot better about the game after whooping on Welt and one ranked match after getting home and I hate the fucking game again.

Seriously, am I just cursed beyond belief? How can anyone consider ranked matches even remotely playable? Lounges I've done with people have generally been fine but probably 2/3ed of ranked matches I've been involved with are borderline unplayable.

Edit : anyone wants to do lounges let me know, but I just can't handle the connections I'm seeing in ranked play.
