It's true lol, not even OSing anything, I'm just bad at this game. Probably gonna put it down for a week or two and play some BB and try it again when I'm less salty.

I thought you were exaggerating at first, but you really are the worst person I've played on the game and I was kind of shocked haha. In other news, Samalis is a lot better than I expected he would be (just having never played him in IV).

I would go into some matches and just block and play defense. Make the challenge how long you can last on the clock. Do that for like 3 hours and then start to incorporate offense.

Well the neutral part didn't help since you had actual real pokes that actually hit low and were cancelable, lol; but in general that isn't even my problem. Like I said I can't even do special moves or command normals, etc. There were at least 3 times where I baited a DP and couldn't punish because F+HP came out as S.HP, or you'd do something -6ish and my QCF+PP would come out as a jump, lol.

Not sure what the hell changed but even when I was brand new in IV, I would get bodied in neutral but there was never a time where like I wanted to overhead and couldn't execute F+MK, lol. I don't think that's a practice thing even, I've competed in a dozen different games the past few years, if I can't execute basic motions after that I never will.

You probably aren't doing a full motion or resetting your stick. This game does not have the same directional requirements as SF4.

I could understand having issues if Calli had never played any other fighting game then IV, but he's got a good spread of games under his belt so his inability to do a command normal properly makes zero sense.

Same stick worked fine for USF4/SG so I don't think so

Does anyone have anything good to say about Laura? Thinking about switching characters. Does she have actual AA unlike Karin?

for starters, you can do standing MP into command dash, or HP bolt to get a knockdown. bolt isn't amazing at 7f or so startup, but it's good for punishing especially bad jump-ins.

she has trouble covering directly above her head but S.MP is a really good AA, QCF+HP is decent if you react really early but it's a hit and not a grab and it's slow with a mediocre box so it trades often

Welt seriously, use Karin's standing HP. Playing Thulius last night he kept me out pretty effectively with Karin.

And Laura sucks, straight up. If you give her zero respect her entire game crumbles. Think Makoto with worse everything.

story of my life online cuz the dumb players arent smart enough to stop mashing. Good players just never make enough mistakes to let me in.
