Your AAs are super on point, I had a hell of time jumping in.
Ggs Goggle!!
Is there detailed frame data anywhere that has invin frames, etc?
So Playstation digital numbers are finally in for the month of Feb, and it isn't good for SFV/Capcom:
1. Came in 5th in the US
2. Didn't even crack the Top 20 in Europe
As Krandor said, on Steam the game currently has more refunds than purchases over the last week.
RIP Capcom. I bet this time next year we start hearing about them selling off IPs to bigger devs.
I call dibs on buying the rights to not making megaman games
Sadly while the battle system is more honest than SFIV, being good at SFIV was more impressive than being good at this game.
SFIV even with its dumbness was a better package overall.
Unless some kind of miracle happens Capcom is not selling 2mil copies by March 31st, I would be surprised if they even sell 400K by then
I said it several times on this thread, or the EVO thread, long before the release: the release date was entirely due to sales forecasting for stockholders (Q1). The pro tour just happened to align and gave them an excuse as to why they released an alpha version as retail.
They wanted to keep their stock from plummeting when there were reports of them almost going bankrupt.
Don't have a smartphone.
They should have been more forthcoming with what was in SF5 at launch, labeled it early access for competitive players or something, and made it clear the full release was coming down the line. Wouldn't have sold as many copies on day 1 maybe, but they wouldn't be dealing with a huge backlash of customer outrage and steam refunds they are now, and they would be in much better shape to sell the game to the mass market when it 'fully' launched in march/april or whatever.
I wonder how much DLC they'll actually go through with? I assume they're obligated to finish the 6 announced characters due to sony funding and the season pass, even if they know they'll lose money doing so.
Tech vs. Callisto:
eh that requires reactions, just don't stop pressing s.mk and Mika can't use charged hk or any of her other buttons either way lol

Has a frame-by-frame hitbox view (but some of the numbers in frame data page are slightly off)
Posting this here for a discussion Welt and I are having and if anyone wants to see the timing on this Karin reset.
As far as we can tell, the first jab has to whiff for the second one to be able to hit and cause the reset.
Btw Counter hit part isn't relevant, I just had that setting on while we were checking stuff.
I remember seeing that when the game came out, haven't seen anyone make good use of it yet. Still no idea why it works that way
I'm pretty sure my name is never gonna get added to the OP

Doubt we're seeing much use of it cause the timing is really fucking strict. Granted I'm like the exact opposite of an execution monster, but I couldn't land it more then 2 or 3 times in a row in training mode.
I'm sure we'll see Sako landing it every single time with ridiculous left/right/high/low/fuckyourlife mixups whenever he comes out for a tourney.
You can do really dirty thing with it, if you can execute it on command.
