Magus is a hell of a lot better than anyone else on these streams, so far.

Champ really looks like the overall best player in this game...but anyone can lose.
Magus has been cracking the fuck out on the game. Probably the most knowledgeable of all the commentators.
Rugal is up. S F L B O Y Z
LOL hes playing tan-tan whos another local
been watching but not listening, champ does do amazing job of making it look like you have no options for everything he does.
I don't think Champ looks the best. Tokido's looked really good with Ryu, and even Kazunoko in the exhibitions looked good with Cammy. Justin's Karin isn't bad either. Champ's up there though.
Champ, Tokido, and Kazunoko have all looked the strongest so far this weekend. KBrad has also looked good in what I've seen from him, and Dogura pulled out some nice stuff during the team tourney.
Dogura's Bison was pretty impressive, though I guess it's no surprise he kills people playing the character with the Azrael dash. He's looking really good so far.
I'm still waiting to see Fuudo body some people, so far all of the Mikas on stream have been pretty bad.
Calli - play later, I got people over trying to pull the stick from me lol.
Is that Mike grab thing blockable? And what is punishable? I feel like I'm losing on rounds I'm winning and just not punishing your wakeup nonsense.
may have missed it, but haven't seen a single zangief yet today. makes me sad.
ORLANDOOOOO
best player in my scene currently
A Gief finally showed up on stream
if you mean the one that throws into the wallbounce that I can continue combo off of yeah, that's just a hit capture off of a 6f normal, if I do the followup on block it's like -30, the first hit itself is -2
In general Karin's S.MK and CR.MK blow up anything Mika can do
Damn viscant stays looking cracked out lol.
EDIT: what is with all these Laura's? I feel like I missed a memo somewhere.
Knowing about the input lag makes everything more frustrating. I can actually tell now when I am blocking "correctly" but still get hit. But I can't always tell when I get hit by a crossup if I just held forward too late or if it's input lag.
Also random scrubby complaint but I hate how Rashid's EX mixer can't be mashed on whiff. I whiff medium mixer just to troll over people's heads sometimes. Not sure who, if anyone, I can legitimately get away with that on.
Not to knock anyone here playing her, but she's a good scrub character. Don't have to waste any time learning any actual combos and her playstyle mostly revolves around just trying to bulldog. She has good oki setups, but I've seen very few Laura's going for it and mostly just relying on standard meaty/command throw mixup game.
Laura is bottom of the barrel. It's just hasn't sunk in with people yet because she's everyone's new favorite waifu
Honestly the fact that she just gets consistent meaty pressure off easy setups is good. She has meh tools but she'll kill anyone in three touches and her meaty setups are nice and reliable no matter how you tech, if you panic on getting knocked down you'll lose in 10 seconds.
I think Mika is a better character overall just because Nadeshiko is infinitely better than Laura's trigger overall but unless it's off a grab she still has to guess the wakeup type correctly.
Laura's biggest issue is so much of her shit is negative on block. Alot of the setups and gimmicks you see Laura players going for can just be jab mashed out of, especially if she's up against someone with a 3 frame.
And yeah, I'd say everything Laura does Mika does better. Just like Birdie is an all around better version of Gief.
