It's just hit/throw with hit being way more rewarding than throw (notice how all the good Mikas do f+HP way more often than throw). Just block the f+HP, then jump out. You don't have to deal with the left/right that Laura also has on top of hit/throw unless Mika has V-Trigger or hits raw f+HP.

Isn't it: Hit (FP), throw, command throw, do nothing? Do nothing is just as scary because if you try to counter you are basically dead.

Do nothing for characters with DPs, yeah (or jump for Chun's). Regular throw is kind of eh because her forward throw is only +3 on hit vs. standing and leaves her at dash distance (even in corner, it pushes her away from you rather than you away from her), so there's no guaranteed pressure afterwards. She does get pressure if you got thrown crouching, but her lows are all ass, so if you block there, you should always be standing. You can use it over cmd grab to try to avoid being punished if they jump, but Mika lives and dies off momentum, so it's usually not a great option.

Been feeling the same way about Mika for a while. It's fucking hard. She's reminiscent of 3rd Strike Makoto only she has actual walk speed
