Birdie's idle animation causes 1 point of damage if the booger hits.
Dear God if someone wins a tournament match with that.
This is a good time to be alive. So many good games to look forward to.
game looks great, although i feel birdie got a lot more attention than some of the other characters. looking forward to the rest of the cast, and hoping they all are given as much detail as him.
Game is still early as hell in development. I fully expect Birdie to be toned down a bit.
EDIT: Bison is so fucking sick. Can't wait!
I fully expect cammy to get toned down, holy shit that v-trigger and crossup tracking. Lol
If the current characters were to stay the exact same (they won't), then Birdie and Bison would be a hell of a lot better than Ryu haha. His fireballs were unsafe as fuck when those characters had or DIDN'T have meter.
Bison's corner pressure looked unstoppable.
While I mostly agree on the bison pressure being very good, players weren't really using the alpha counters much against pressure, that should be factored in the balance. Ryu IS pretty screwed even with his awesome hadokens in V-Trigger, though, I totally agree. Too many options to absorb/reflect/autoguard/parry/teleport/jump over them. Just Birdie has 2-3 good options to deal with those, and that's a character that should at least have mild difficulties with fireballs.
Cammy looks OD too...

Fuck fireballs, that shit is so 90s... They weren't relevant in 3S anyway
Seeing as I don't main a fireball character, I never said I cared. It was just an obvious fact lol.
Though for the longevity's sake, fireballs should probably be a hell of a lot better than Third Strike. That game wasn't exactly popular outside of Japan and it sure as hell didn't carry tournaments.
I think part of the problem is people not really having a fireball game yet. Example, I just watched the Snake Eyez/Delusion match for a PS4 and SE was reading Delusion's fireball timings like an open book. This led to a lot of free damage.
There was also the fact that Delusion practically refused to engage in neutral, but that's another matter entirely.
