They need to cut out like every god damn background image and database (no point updates, coin updates etc) call to make this game playable in anything other than versus. They optimization is basically what is referred to as "undeployable" or "in the red". It is what you would use in a DEV or UAT environment for testing only. What they are storing and calling is basic as fuck and should take milliseconds. It is like they have a single DB server with 4 cores trying to process this stuff....

If you were in a HNM LS this was pretty much true with almost everyone on every server. Other then some casual conversations with other PLDs on my server between Fafhogg windows I'm pretty sure everyone on Asura hated my fucking guts. Including alot of my own linkshell.

You would have fit right in my LS. I still say, with confidence, my LS was the best across servers. We monopolized basically everything and were 40% NA / 40% JP / 20% Korean. We covered all timezones and got every LoO claim for probably 4 years straight. I could sell Kraken Clubs for 400-500M in seconds any week I wanted.

There was none of that JP vs. NA bullshit because I just brought them together. Also, best bots are best.

Asura!? Shiiiit I used to get so much free shit because the leader of some grand JP linkshell was named Kaiza and at that time my name Kiaza. The hatred for that dude single-handily funded my apoc even years after it was introduced lol.

Kaiza was part of Armada, which was the resident JP LS trying to hold down all the filthy gaijins on the server. They eventually lost their stranglehold on the server around the midpoint of CoP, at which point it was just the Americans shitting on each other.

At least until our gilsellers decided to start farming HNMs, which was another great moment in Asura history.

I don't even understand the hype around Alex. He was one of the least played character in SF3, wasn't good, and 99% of SFV players didn't touch SF3.

I said this before but Welt turned a shitty sky linkshell into a dragon's aery monopoly (32 fafhoggs in a row?) People stopped showing up.

On Alexander botting was not a secret it was an expectation. "Are you willing to use a bot?" Was a question on the two major HMNLSs application...

Honestly, like 90% of Alex's game in 3 was pretty damn good, unfortunately the 10% was probably one of the worst AA games in existence.

I played Alex originally in 3, before eventually switching to Akuka/Hugo combo when Third Strike came out and the near decade after.

But what about all those premium costumes? Aren't those solely Zenny specific? So how do they intend on getting those to the players? Unless it's them for actual cash on the platform? Kind of weird how they'll do it for one and not the other.

Also launching today, the In-Game Shop for earned currency (aka Fight Money) lets players spend their hard earned Fight Money to purchase extra game content, such as new characters (100,000 FM each) and Story Mode Costumes (40,000 FM each). Guile, Ibuki, Balrog, Juri, and Urien will be releasing later this year and each will have a Story Mode costume available for purchase using Fight Money. Additional content will be announced at a later date.

Since the In-Game Shop for real currency (aka Zenny) is not available just yet, Capcom is offering Alex as a free trial period to all players, until the Zenny shop launches. This also applies to any future DLC character that releases prior to the Zenny shop launching. Once the Zenny shop launches, the free trial for DLC characters that released prior to the Zenny shop opening will end, and players will need to use Fight Money, Zenny, or the Season Pass to access those characters.

$29.99. Includes the 6 chars, plus their "premium" costumes plus a stage (at this point). I've considered it as I usually end up being an outfit whore, and the costumes alone are $4 each separately and can't earn with points, and yes, can buy on Steam.

I dunno. I know IRON's hatred was pretty legendary, especially with the BBK list. Plus we had Minidragon, the guy who played 20 hours out of the day every day...

Alex frame data stuffs

Only St lp , St mp, cr lp, and f+hp are plus on block, all other normals are negative and all his hard buttons plus his overhead (f+mp) are unsafe (-4 or greater).

Flash Chop is -4 for L, M, H versions, -2 for EX

Elbow is -3,-6,-7,-10 no block for respective strength levels. EX elbow has one hit of armor

Knee does not hit grounded

Stomp is -5 on block for normal versions, +2 for EX. EX is projectile invincible

Power Bomb is 6 frame startup

His V Skill does not lose its charge on whiff, and allows crush counter combos after a stun.
