Grats.
I was thinking about trying to grind some more on Ranked.. but meh, if rage quitting is still a thing I'd rather just not.. especially if 2/3 isn't the standard.

i aint stepping back into ranked untill they make some serious changes with the lag and rage quiters. In casuals everyone accepts the 2/3 and i've not ran into 1 "oh i lost a round now its starting to lag" bullshit.
also i played a legit Rmika that was busting my ass, she couldnt close out the rounds so i got to skate barely. I was getting blown up on wake up.
From what I've seen in the little bits of ranked I played the last week or so most people go for 2/3. It's a good way to earn some cheap LP if it's some scrub you can just blow the fuck up.

Did a long set with one of my old friends, and I really need to go back offline and practice QCF motions :/
Fucking LOL, so true

see me in the streets
yall complaining about Mika have no idea how easy you have it in this game, lol
@shidobu You missed a bunch of bad things he was doing:
Spoiler: show
Ono's response to why SFV has completely flopped:
"I think it's safe to say that we underestimated the popularity of some of the single-player features," Ono said. "That said, we are excited about the two all-new single-player modes--character story and survival--and we have plans to continue to refine and expand onto those experiences."
Holy shittttt, does he not realize the Story mode and Survival are total shit and not a single person wants to ever "experience" them again?
The fuck has happened to CAPCOM between 2008 and this launch....
What do you mean "Ono?" Like as in, you don't know who he is?
Also, a good story mode would have been fucking awesome. MK9 was worth the money for story mode alone.
I don't think that Ono gets that people aren't playing Survival because they like it, they are because they locked the most basic fucking content in the game behind that bullshit mode lol
How does talking about the story mode, and only the story mode, insinuate anything else about MK9, such as balance? lol.
I think the last MK sold 6-7 million copies and SFV is lingering below 1M lol. A good story mode would help bring a ton more new players to the game.
Is that hard for you to understand or something?
A good story mode would bring a ton more new players, but how many of them would actually stay long enough to effect the scene in any way.
You were directly quoting a statement regarding Ono describing where they chose to use their resources pre launch. So yes, i'm glad they handled it the way they did. Especially if it meant risking the overall quality of the game because story mode does not make a good fighting game.

MK9 let P2 go to character select at least lol
Even if the retention rate for new players due to a story mode isn't high (which would be bad), it would still mean more money going to Capcom so they can stay afloat and fix shit along with creating more content. That said, I too am glad they focused on the core game but there's def some quality of life stuff they forgot that leaves me bewildered, especially when it's not like they'd have to tread new ground since SFIV had it.
