I think my confidence level of ever liking this game has hit 0% and I'll just try KOF or play 4.

Revelator is out on consoles in June, pre-ordering PS4 version on PSN gets you the demo, which has story, vs, and training mode with all but 3 of the new characters, but access to the entire rest of the cast.

I think when the game fully releases, you may definitely like Johnny, and Kum. Kum seems to be the closest thing to an sf character that game has. I'm definiteyl enjoying Jam.

Even if he hadn't mentioned it in the past anyone who knows Welt could see him playing Millia as obvious, maybe Jam.

Then again I never really pictured myself playing a Rekka character, but here I am rocking Leo (though he his still a charge character, so I got that going for me)

May's the only charge character i've ever played in my entire fgc life. I have no idea why til this day she plays how i want, and she taught me how to charge partition. Jam is sorta a rekka character in the sense of her card moves. So i'm playing 2 characters that are out of my comfort zone, but i can play them comfortably in gg.

I almost exclusively play charge characters and grapplers in 2d fighting games, with little side diversions like Akuma in 3S or Testament and Chipp (though I mostly played Pot) in GG:XX and it's 50 million variations.

GG? Get that shit outa here lol. Anyway, now that we all agree Capcom fucked up to the nth degree, what can they possibly do to salvage w/e is left of the SF legacy? Althdoe the dmg is done, mai guess, wish rather, is that they'll introduce a Super/Turbo version w/ major changes and improvements; completely doing a 180.

They already said there won't be any Super versions.

They're probably going to release something akin to a Greatest Hits version of SFV with all of the content updates from the first season.

Just reading all of the stuff you need to learn from Johnny looks a little worrisome. If Kum is interesting I'll play her, or just stick with an easy character like Sin.
