Guile's st HP, cr mp into sonic boom/flash kick only works if it's following a jump in right? From just standing there simply doesn't seem to be enough charge time for the special, but the 2-3 extra frames provided by the input buffer for the st HP allows it to work from a jump in.

Edit : just saw the combo video on eventhubs, guess it is possible and I'm just sucking ass.

Guile had some of the longer corner combos in sf4, they just weren't worth using in real play due to the scaling.

Word, didn't realize the cancel window was so large (like Chun's cr mk). Easy money now.

OK so that whole St HP into cr MP cancel I was talking about earlier, learned an "easy" way to time it.

Double Tap the mp before cancelling into the boom or flash kick. The input doesn't do shit, but the natural delay you'll generate from double tapping (at least for me) is the timing window to get enough charge time for the cancel.

Also, anyone want to get some games in?

Can someone tell me wtf to do against nash's fucking jumping mk cross up with ryu..

Block? Most of the cast has no answer for properly spaced/timed crossups, even less when you remove burning meter from the equation

Ryu's dash is also fast enough that if you see the jump early you can try just dashing under them.

So how fo i approach/pressure Nash withou eating dirt once he has full V-Trigger? i had this mstch where this nash basicly Teleported out inbetween pokes. Cr LP into cr MK is no true block string but he coild just warp out of it and hit me before my cr MK even recovered. I am at a total loss :/
