I didn't see it mentioned elsewhere in the thread, but today's Ken press release says PS4 Beta 1 (the one you get into for pre-ordering) will last for only 5 days. There will be more Beta tests in the future, though.

Announced today during the annual Street Fighter panel at San Diego Comic-Con, a new character has joined the exclusive Street Fighter V roster. Ken, the master of the flaming Shoryuken, has just been confirmed and is now playable on the Comic-Con show floor (Capcom booth #215). One of the key protagonists in the legendary Street Fighter series, Ken brings an array of new abilities to Street Fighter V, where his tricky mix-ups and flashy combos have the ability to bewilder opponents and deal huge damage. Ken joins the six previously-announced characters Ryu, Chun-Li, Charlie Nash, M. Bison, Cammy and Birdie, with plenty more new and returning characters still to come.

As a reminder, the first online beta program for Street Fighter V will be exclusive to PlayStation 4 players and will run for five days, starting from July 23 (6pm PDT) in North America/ July 24 (3am CEST) in Europe. In North America, those who pre-order the game through select retailers or through PlayStation™ Network (PSN) will be granted automatic access to the beta. In Europe and Asia, players interested in participating in the beta program can visit streetfighter.com and follow the various steps to sign up for a chance to join the fight! Additional beta programs will be taking place throughout the rest of the year and more details will be shared at a later date.

Ken's attack style looks great, but his hair is dreadful. They have REALLY pitiful talent on the design end at Capcom.

Capcom fighter's never look that great in still shots. I bet Ken and his new locks will start to grow on you when you're playing the game in motion on your actual T.V. screen.

He's in like negative alpha at this point most likely, they'll clean the model up. I like where the game is going so far in terms of varied characters.

I remember Cammy's face looking weird in char select still shots too and then Chun Li and Ryu looked diff too so I'm not too worried.

Yeah Cammy went from looking eh to looking really good in motion. I'm just laughing at how much ken looks like fucking Rugal now. Red and black and blonde with hair everywhere. I'm waiting for the flaming Genocide Cutters as an EX.

Other then his hair looking kinda whack his entire design is fantastic imo. Moves and animations all look great, and I like his overall outfit design.

Knowing that damage from what we've seen is likely to get toned down a bit before release, he's the first truly scary character I've seen so far. I'm sure his run is unsafe, but that pressure is damn real.
