The dumb part is Capcom not bothering to announce no May character until THE LAST FUCKING DAY OF THE MONTH.

They had to have known ahead of time that this shit wouldn't be ready, but instead just chose to sit on it. The incredibly poor communication since they've released the game has been a huge blunder on their part. And then like Welt said, when communication about this comes it's via a translated Japanese blog.

I'm willing to let them slide if the story patch is out sometime this week (not fucking likely) or next. They always have to go through 2 weeks of Sony cert to get the patch out so they might have thought the story mode was close enough to being done that they'd just combine it. Either way if there were bugs with Ibuki, I'd rather they fix that shit then just release her to keep their timetable cause we all know what happens when they rush.

Edit: welp lol. Just saw a tweet by Capcom that Ibuki/story is at the end of June. Pro communication.

Edit : It's 5 weeks out, so she most likely won't be playable, moreso since end of June likely means the 30th given Capcom's release schedule so far

The problem with this statement is they specifically hired a PR/Community Manager for such information. He is just total garbage at his job and has been seen or heard from like a total of once since SFV hit street date.

Very true but I'm sure the big bosses at Capcom still have control over what can be announced. This lack of communication is an issue on all sides. We got nothing from Haunts, Peter, or the JP side until the last possible day. Maybe they were hoping to sell more season passes with people thinking they were gonna have 3 chars.
