I don't know if they could even get a patch certified for PSN that quickly even if the actual fix only took an hour to program lol

I think they'd speed up the process for EVO however.
Even then they'd actually have to get all the consoles patched in time.
Gaming Generations is pretty good about getting that stuff done ASAP
I think Ibuki might be even more braindead then Mika.
Are V-Reversals supposed to be punishable outside of throw?
If you can avoid the hit (like by being invincible) and recover before the animation completes you can punish it.
I know Bison specifically can punish V Reversals in quite a few ways, like dashing thru them.
Cammy's is also -8 on block, it kinda varies by character
It varies per character, yeah.
I'm not sure what punishes Balrog's V Reversal, but something about it feels unsafe if blocked. Someone's going to eat a 50% combo at EVO once people figure it out.
it's -2 on block, I thought it was punishable myself but it was just that every time someone used it on WSO/Pro Talk they were mashing buttons after lol
Yeah that seems about right. I got nervous whenever I see it thrown out because it was typically blocked, but he never seemed to get his shit pushed in. This was from watching Justin and Prog play em.

^ rog and ibuki frames
Tldr on Rogs frame data from when I looked at it yesterday.
cr lk 3 frame low
St MK and St HK both great frame data, but super stubby
EX Dash Straight, EX Dash Low, TAP safe on block.
Every target combo, every other special, anything V Skill, and St HP/cr HP/cr HK (duh) unsafe.
I think his overhead should be safe on block considering anything he does with his V Skill can be beaten by reacted to by mashing jab and how long the whole startup for it is. At a minimum make it -4 to reduce how punishable a block is instead of -8. The risk reward on it is horrendous, especially when you consider how poor the damage on his lows are without burning CA or V Trigger.
If it's punishable it's punishable, Rog feels like one of those characters where you can throw frame data out of the window simply because of how volatile he is.

Punishable by a light vs punishable by a medium is a huge difference for alot of the cast.
I was just curious if they were meant to be punished, at all, or if the purpose was to be an unpunishable "get off me" type move.
I would likely assume that the design was the latter (throws notwithstanding), but the reality is that like all things in fighting games, the playerbase found ways around it.
I dunno, V-reversal being punishable falls in line with Capcom wanting almost everything to have some risk to using it. Some players have already started to bait out V-reversals to punish. Whether that is what Capcom actually wanted though will have to wait till the rebalance next year. Speaking of, they haven't said anything regarding the input lag ever since Combofiend tried to put out the fire.
his are 3f armor just like Laura/Mika, his only get off me move is cr.lk lol
They won't say shit because it's intended. Just like how Hillary Clinton won't hold press conferences, they're better off just shutting their mouths because talking about it only makes things worse.
The only realistic solution is to disable vsync, but I honestly don't even know if that's possible on PS4 like it is on PC (or using a Gsync/Freesync monitor)
