I didn't have to toggle on Dinput when I booted up SFV with a controller. Can't find a game online though, every time I find a match I get dced.

I found a goofy bug in Akuma trials mode https://clips.twitch.tv/sassagetest2...BeeSuperVinlin
Akuma actually feels pretty good. He's going to be interesting to watch play. I think with the way Ken is going, I'm going to put time into really getting good with Necalli. Seems he's the only character in this game that I like playing and actually learning matchups with.
Is Necalli still retarded good?
FYI: if you get the white screen disconnect and go back to the character select screen it reverts your characters to season 1 lmao. Confirmed by multiple sources.
FYI 2: the trials include combos that are no longer possible in season 2 because they were only in season 1.
It literally just gets worse and worse....wow
so wait, with the trials, does it load in the S1 version and allow you to practice combos that no longer work in real matches (like everything after SSF4)? or does it load in the S2 version and you just can't complete them?
The S1 version of the character gets loaded so you can complete them.
The frame debate is entirely apples to oranges, and I don't believe for a second you're dumb enough to think otherwise.
I sure as hell have never had my SF4 characters revert to a previous game's version, and I've played basically daily since release lol.
Also, if you made a mistake years ago and people complained, it is entirely worse to repeat the same mistake with past knowledge. Especially with all of the negativity around this game and single-player content. Talk about fucking tards.
Edit: Tweet from Capcom - "We've confirmed the phenomenon that Street Fighter 5 is hard to login to. Cause is under investigation. Please wait, we are sorry for the inconvenience. We appreciate your help."
The....phenomenon......LOL.
So how much time should they devote to reworking the trial combos after each adjustment?
I feel like zero is a fair (if perhaps sub-ideal) answer. I believe that is the answer they went with after SSF4, and you get old versions of characters specifically when doing Trial Mode.
I don't touch trials, so I don't care. But with SFV, it is beyond clear that they mishandled the game for people who like that type of content. They absolutely should have added/adjusted the trials.
That's fine, but you don't seem to acknowledge that it's the exact same approach they took with SF4, and no one really cared.
0-10, not a single round won, only 3 or 4 perfects. Still got it from USF4.
GGPO wouldn't add any extra lag but the game is still going to have input lag. Mike Z said Skullgirls has 3-4 frames native input lag just yesterday.
Note that he said PC version of Skullgirls/Xrd, which I guess is relevant for the always-changing Skullgirls, and not-at-all relevant for Xrd unless you like being even further behind the current version than is normally the case with ArcSys.
Console versions are 3-4 frames like many other games.
I know, Mike Z was talking about the steam version.

@DNWalton SG has ~3f lag (the minimum) on all platforms including Vita.
You think I'd accept 5?! :^\
